The King's Arms was built in the early 18th Century right next door to the Lion Gate, the side entrance to Hampton Court Palace. The staff were very friendly, and the pub was a wonderful place to sit around and talk with interesting and mostly younger visitors from all over the world. The rooms are not the Ritz, but they... Stayed one night at this hotel. Very old tudor building so small corridors and rooms but it just added to its charm. All rooms modern and had what you needed. Next to Hampton Court Palace and maze. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Quiet at night despite being nearly full. Had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning with... More

We stayed in room 14 while attending a friend's wedding. The room smelt strongly of damp and we noticed the ceiling and walls had mould growing on them. When we told a member of staff about this they said the owners already knew but hadn't done anything about this. The TV did not work properly and the coffee table was... More

This is an old world charming inn, no major frills, other than the rather nice real ale, the great bar food, the very comfortable room, useful workspace for the business bits, the friendly, helpful staff. Hang on, what more could you ask for? Parking at the front seems to be on a first come first served basis, so you may... More

Chose this hotel for a visit to Hampton Court based on 2 factors: you can't get any closer other than staying in Henry viii's bedroom; free, no reservation parking was mentioned on the description. The hotel is located right next to the palace. However, once we were in London, we rang to check where the parking was to be told... More

We should have been staying three nights primarily to visit the Hampton Court Flower show. We booked through Late Rooms but when we arrived our booking wasn't on their system. They only had a room for that night. They tried to find us some other local accommodation but everywhere was booked solid. So not a good start. Nevertheless the hotel... More

Great hotel/pub. Good tasty food, good staff, good room. Position for visiting Hampton Court Palace which is well worth a visit is brilliant! Bang next door to Lionsgate with parking outside the pub. Would recommend a stay!

Our room service was excellent. However after climbing 26 stairs and going through numerous doors I was a very exhausted - elderly lady, The bath had no slip mat and was difficult to get in and out. The room and bed was spotless. The staff very pleasant. We stayed for one dinner, not impressed. Breakfast - The bread was awful... More

My husband and I booked this hotel without really reading the previous reviews carefully. That was a mistake. The hotel is very old and quaint and the location for The Hampton Court Festival is amazing. The hotel backs onto the maze. However that is the only plus that I could find. We requested a quiet room with extra size double... More

This is one of the dirtiest, stickiest hotels I have stayed in. And a complete rip off at £170 for a night Filthy common areas, with plaster hanging off the walls and a badly spelt notice blaming the rain!!!! an awful dingy room, filthy windows , mould in shower, a bathroom mirror you have to crouch down to see yourself...
