In our very large family room,1 of the beds was a single mattress on the floor! Very uncomfortable & unenjoyable. TV only had 17 channels & not even the full amount of freeview channels!! Excellent location though

I used to stay here all the time when visiting London or Croydon. It's a standard Travelodge to be honest. It's clean, staff were friendly, comfy bed Ect. Trains to London just around the corner and bus stops just outside and down the road is all the shops in Croydon, so it's a pretty decent location too.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as a base for Central London. It is just a couple of minutes walk from East Croydon station, West and South Croydon stations are also within walking distance. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member who advised me of everything I needed to know about the... More

Staff were very helpful and friendly but unfortunately that is where the pleasant stay stopped. The room was very basic although it was supposed to be the new revamped look. Curtains let in all light from outside. Windows and double glazing let in all noise. Windows looked out into rear of m&s car park which was full of wheely bins... More

I stayed here because I needed to be in London: at only 20 minutes away from Victoria Station - including the short walk to East Croydon - it is very good value, in a perfect location. Sausages good: eggs not so!

Checked in ok, room was on the 8th floor but smelt of cigarette smoke. Went back to reception who changed our room to the 3rd floor. The explanation was that 'someone must have smoked in there earlier'. The shower plug hole gurgled constantly when people in other rooms used their showers and the extraction vent whistled constantly too and it... More

Very convenient for rail access to Central London and very competitively priced compared with Central London Hotels. Sorter and Poster Pub by station very convenient for good but basic pub grub. I have stayed many times mid week but found my recent Saturday night stay disturbed by children running up and down corridors and worse still 'clubers' returning in early... More

Basic but very good value hotel. 3 nights over a weekend for £100 ish is a bargain. Central London is easily accessible from East Croydon station - which is a very short walk away. Clean room and the staff were helpful. Good views from the top floor.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel with 2 children. We lived in a family room for 4 on the 8th floor. It was absolutely silent, there were no any noise. It was clean. We got clean towels every day. The all you can eat breakfast was perfect for us. Typical English food and cereals, youghurts and nutella for the... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2015

I stayed at the Travelodge Croydon for 1 night on 17th March, room 1006. The location of this hotel is great, only a few minutes walk from East Croydon train station. Bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was functional but not sparkling clean. The reception staff were efficient. Breakfast was poor. In my opinion if a hotel can't provide a... More
