the first impressions of the hotel are good. there is a good sized car park and the rooms are pleasant and well equipped including fan and a/c. there is no desk which is disappointing if you need to work wifi is free and reliable. The down side is the food, It is simply awful. Lukewarm packet mix soup and soya... More

Friendly and helpful reception and waiting staff at breakfast. Small but clean rooms with small en-suite shower room, wi-fi, tv, coffee and tea and a good breakfast included. Popular and busy. Only stairs up to our room. Fan only, no aircon but window could be opened. Great value Dosa restaurant within 5 mins walk. Be careful which room you stay... More

It is what you would expect for the price, small but clean the hotel was having renovations when I stayed which I wasn't told about when booking, it just made it hard to get to and from my room with work men in the halls all day and wet paint, the elevator got stuck 3 times in the 2 weeks... More

I am from the U.S.and stayed at this hotel for 6 nights unfortunately.Hotel was decent looking on the outside, but the inside of the hotel past the lobby was very strange.Narrow long hallways which looked to lead in all different directions. My room was on a interior wall..I've personally never been in a hotel room with no window. It seemed very strange to... Just needed a night's accommodation before a family wedding. By chance found out that the Norfolk had been taken over by Ibis and so hoped to benefit from re-furb. Plenty of car parking space. Reception unaware of written request for a quiet room (changeover blip?) and seemed a bit put out but re-allocated us. The bright, colourful entrance area leads... More

No longer Norfolk house, it is an ibis styles hotel. The staff was rude once we got there. Very aggressive with their questions & made it seem like we were trying to skip out on paying for 2 people, even though we had already booked it online for 2 people. Room is nice though. Very comfy bed & super super... More

I stayed here with my family for the night as we attending a family party, we were originally booked into the croydon court hotel but when we arrived we were sent to the Ibis (no longer called Norfolk), the hotel was very clean and it was clear that everything was very new, there was plenty of parking available as well.... We stayed in this hotel for a week and it was a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly. The good: It had been taken over by Ibis on our first day so the rooms were done up to a decent standard - very clean, an excellent and spacious bed and a newly-kitted-out bathroom. The breakfast was basic,... More
