I gave a relatively bad review last year in retrospect was unfair. I find the staff brilliant and have really helPed me out nothing is too much trouble. The gym and pool are excellent and the food is brilliant. The only thing I hate is waiting in a que but perhaps that's just me. Best hotel in Croydon, stay here. More

This hotel is very near East Croydon Station. It has a mediocre gym and pool .The breakfast is good. The worst part of this hotel is the heating .The rooms can be really cold and the heating blasts out cold air for the first 20 minutes and then gets really hot.The system is really noisy and could be doing with being upgraded.Several... I stayed at the Croydon Park in Jan 2012 on business. The hotel is easily accessible from East Croydon station - about 5 minutes walk - and it ideally situated for the town centre, which has several good pubs and restaurants. The reception of the hotel is a bit sparse, but clean and well kept. Checkin was fairly fast -... More

Whilst its location makes it a perfect place to say, it is sad to say, but in most other ways The Croyon Park Hotel is a disappointment. The room was a good size, but was in dire need of some refurbishment as it was run down and screamed for an up-date in decor and ammenities. Several incidents proved that not... More

This is a strange hotel with an unintended retro feel. Apparently first built in 1982 and if there is such a thing, it maintains its 80s charm. Although refurbished in 2002 and 2008, The decor, style, food and service are all throw backs to the 80s and 90s. The over the top use of shiny brass and tasteless chandeliers all... More

Stayed at this hotel over Christmas for 2 nights and felt the service was sadly let down by poor communication from some members of the staff. The staff were pleasant but lacked the the completeness one would wish to see at a 4* hotel and this unfortunately has overshadowed an otherwise good experience. Thus my recommendation to the staff would... More

We had a family room here - two good sized queen beds and a nice bathroom. There is free wi-fi on the PC in the lobby, but not in the room. (You can pay extra to have it in the room). This hotel is in a great location for getting around Croydon and South London, being just 2 mins walk... More

Having begun working in Surrey, I have sampled a number of the business orientated hotels available to commuters in Croydon, the Croydon Park Hotel being one of them. I have also written reviews of the Hilton Hotel in Purley and the Aerodrome, both viable alternatives to the Croydon Park. I was initially very impressed with the Croydon Park Hotel. Generally... I have stayed at this hotel twice, for one night in December 2011, and for one night in Jan 2012. The first time, there was a very strong smell of cigarettes in my room: I was relocated quickly, but still had a smoky smell when I operated the aircon. I think a member of staff may have been smoking next... More

Dear Narrowfocus thanks for leaving us a review here. On your first visit if your room strongly smelt of gigarette, then it is quite possible that you were put in a smoking room, as we do have a few rooms in a designated section of the hotel for guest who smoke. However, as you said you were quickly relocated and... More

We stayed at the Croydon Park Hotel over Christmas as we were visiting relatives who lived nearby. I’ll start with the positives: the hotel is very conveniently located as it is only a five minute walk from East Croydon station which will take you directly to London Bridge or Victoria in about 15 minutes. Our room (on level one) was... More
