Nice homely stay. I stayed there for 4 weeks during my business trip. Rooms are good with queen size bed, study cum dining table for 4, kichenette with utensils, microwave, flidge, iron and a cupboard. It was a good place to stay. Laundry timings are not good-10AM to 8 PM. Few rooms has internet problem.

The main advantage of this hotel is that Croydon East is some 15 minutes away from Gatwick. I was standing in the queue for passport control and an hour asleep in the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit farther from the Croydon East station than desirable when coming with a suitcase, but is not a bad walk when not... More

I stayed here several times throughout 2012 while I attended some professional courses in Croydon and found it to meet my needs adequately. The small kitchenette although rather worn and tired enabled me to cook my own meals which saved me a considerable amount of money on restaurant meals or take-aways and tasted a lot better too, although the cooking... This is a basic, but relatively cheap option for an overnight stay if you need to be at Gatwick early or arrive late. The room is fitted with a small kitchenette (with microwave, kettle, utensils etc) and an en-suite. Tea and coffee with biscuits plus orange juice is provided. Everything is clean (no smell in my room!). No lift, but... More

Well took a punt on this place based on the 3 star rating and the proximity to our event and well I can only describe the reviews as a tad dishonest. 1. The smell of this place was like a kitchen which was so off putting. There is a kebab shop underneath the hotel so one can only imagine the... More

Really good place to spend some days in London. 15 minutes away from Victoria train station to East Croydon train station, and hotel is just 10 minutes by walk from the train station.Value for money is perfect & our room which was perfect. It was clean, roomy, and extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. It was definitely... More

My family and I were scheduled to stay at this 'hotel' recently. When we gained entrance to the 'reception area' (a broken desk shoved under the stairs) we were greated by a man that was wiping his greasy fingers on his shirt while he finished chewing his lunch. Not a great start. I was told that I would have to... More

I chose this hotel because I was attending a friend's party very close by. We didn't want an expensive hotel and the Travelodge was booked (where we normally stay) so this seemed an ok alternative, it had a small kitchenette as well! There's no parking but we parked for £10 overnight round the corner in an NCP, just a 5... More

Although the price was reasonable, there was a reason for this. First impressions were ok but after looking around the room disappointment set in. Plug sockets did not work, layers pf dirt behind the fridge, windows did not close properly, blinds damaged, no plugs for sink or bath, mold around windows, iron had faulty dangerous flex, ironing board was next... Not the best but for the price it's hard to beat. With a small kitchenette and fridge it can save you compared to a normal hotel. Eating out is good, but after a while I just get enough of it. There's a Tesco just across the street. Croydon has good connections to both Heathrow (bus x26) and Gatwick by train.... More
