Excellent hotel - extremely friendly staff offering great service. The complementary damson vodka in the room and single malt whisky in the hall was a nice touch. Best breakfast 😃 Very clean room with lovely fluffy towels ( large bath sheets ) and underfloor heating in the bathroom (Darcy room)

Firstly; thank you to Mike and Jess for looking after us so well on our family dinner this evening! We rang up prior to reschedule our table which they did so with no hassle, Mike answered the phone in a very friendly and polite manner. We arrived and again was greeted by Mike, he took our coats whilst making us... More

We took advantage of a beginning of the year offer for overnight stay and dinner. We found the room to be comfortable with a double aspect view. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The bar had a good atmosphere offering cocktails and local beers. The restaurant provided good service as well as excellent food - hard to fault it.... More

We went at 5pm on a Sunday to this pub which looks lovely on the website. We were shown to a tiny table in a room that resembles a school dining hall! No cosy fires or soft furnishings which made it very loud and frankly without any atmosphere at all. We were handed a menu and not offered any roast... More

Thank you for your review and I am very glad to hear that you felt the quality of the food was good. Unfortunately it seems that we did not match on the service levels and that is something we take very seriously. I have spoken to the team members on duty and we are concentrating on the issues you experienced... More

My husband and I stayed here following a visit to the Surrey Sculpture Park opposite (and which I'd highly recommend - but that's another story!) The hotel is essentially an up-market pub with rooms. Our room was very small (just about big enough for a double bed) and very hot, but charmingly decorated. The inclusion of a decanter of sloe... More

After spending a long week on the road I stumbled across this little gem. Friendly and personable staff, easy going atmosphere and a beautiful room with luxurious linens, pillows and complimentary gin. Truly a home from home. Breakfast (fluffy blueberry pancakes, crispy bacon, berries, maple syrup & clotted cream - I kid you not!) was a delicious change from the... More

Party of 6 ,others had soup .asked for bread ,arrived with butter but no knives. Steak dinner excellent. Staff young plentiful & friendly, but 1 or 2 lack... More

On a business trip and have stayed here before in the Summer. Superb rooms, all tastefully fitted out. Fantastic food in the restaurant. I was served by Nadia who made me feel very welcome and was very helpful when selecting from the menu. A great couple of nights sleep and simply delicious breakfasts made to order. Why stay at a... We stayed at the Bell and Dragon after my cousins wedding and had a wonderful time. The rooms where neat, tidy and cosy and the extra details they go to really make the difference. Decanters of Whiskey for the boys and bottles of sloe gin for the ladies to wind down a long evening by the fireplace. This hotel truly... More

I normally stay at the B&D in Odiham but as I was late booking this was the only hotel that had a vacancy. The theme of the hotel is the same as the one in Odiham but I think I will be staying at this location more often. The food was excellent and the rooms are far quieter in comparison... More
