Myself and my partner arrived late into the Russ Hill hotel before an early gatwick flight. The lobby and reception was lined with asylum seekers staring as we walked through. The hotel has not been kept well and is generally in state of dilapidation. We slept with our cases against the door we were that intimidated on arrival...the hotel needs... More

We have used this hotel many times before, it was lovely and well kept. Now on arrivel, we walked through a pokey corridor, which had asylum seekers lining the whole corridor on both sides, which felt very intimidating late at night walking through with a small baby! I have to say, the reception staff are very friendly, I cannot complain... More

We normally book this hotel before we fly out of Gatwick as we can leave our car there and it's reasonably priced. Unfortunately I can categorically say we will never book this hotel again. We were assigned a room with no window which was like a box, now I know we paid a very reasonable rate for this hotel however... More

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, because of the good rate for a room and parking while you are away. Not any more, the hotel is definitely not the nice relaxing good value for money it once was, give it a miss and book the Travelodge instead.

Had stayed at this hotel in February and have to admit that the stay was pleasant, so when going on another holiday we thought we would go here again and recommended it to our friends as the overnight stay and parking was very reasonable. On our arrival we saw many people hanging around outside inside was even worse they made... More

Stayed here earlier this month prior to departure from Gatwick. The parking is ok and although the shuttle service is now just an ordinary public bus service it suited our timetable. We have noticed a deterioration in the fabric of the hotel over the years. It si now tatty, suggesting a lack of investment. But the major change is that... More

This hotel is horrendous. We stayed here after a friends wedding in the area, we had booked the hotel some time before so had not seen the most recent reviews! After arriving late in the evening we walked into the lobby with numerous people hanging around outside, in the lobby & outside rooms, we now know that these people were... More

We choose this Hotel because of the free parking. When we arrived we had to take a normal bus to the airport. There is no shuttle bus!!. Which also ment we had to take a taxi back to the Hotel when we came back. Total cost 28 pounds. The room is very poor as well as the bathroom. We arrived... More

We stayed here as had middle of night flight arrival. We should have been informed that this was a hotel for asylum seekers. The hotel lobby was full of shifty looking characters on their mobiles as this was the only place where Wifi was available (in the middle of the night !). We ventured into the breakfast room, but were... More
