We stayed here for 2 nights with 2 other couples as we were going to Uttoxeter races. The B&B is down a country lane but only 10 minutes from a retail park and 10 minutes from the racecourse. Mary did an afternoon tea for us on arrival which was delicious, with home made quiche, sandwiches, scones and fruit cake. Nothing... More

We booked two rooms for one night during our visit to Alton Towers. We were welcomed by an adorable Labrador The Buiscuit and of course the owners. Upon arrival we received tea and delicious home made cakes and cookies in a lovely lounge with a fireplace and ceiling beams. Both spotless big rooms were so comfortable with huge beds and... More

The Grange is a very attractive converted barn set in the rolling Staffordshire countryside. We stayed in "The Loxley" family room for two nights. It is a large room, with original ceiling beams and is tastefully furnished with antiques. There is a large double bed and two single beds, but with the size of the rooms it does not feel... More

A great b&b run by friendly hosts. The rooms are clean and well presented in a lovely setting. It was a great find and an ideal base for visiting the surrounding area. The food is well worth a try. Would definitely stay again.

What a fabulous b & b, such a friendly cosy converted barn. We stayed one night, definitely would have stayed for more if we could. The contrast from staying at a chain hotel the night before, unbelievable... The owners take such pride in their barn. Make their own jams, muffins for the morning , nice breakfasts to fill you up really... More

Stayed for one night at The Grange, in the family room. The welcome was very warm, with tea and biscuits brought outside into the garden, we were kept entertained by the lovely Biscuit the dog. The room was lovely, plenty of space for two adults and one 10 year old, massive bed, everything was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was also excellent,... More

The ONLY negative to the Grange is that it's only 30 mins to my parents, so I'll struggle to find an excuse to stay again... but I will find one. I joined a group of 15 friends Glamping in the gardens for a Hen party, from arrival to departure the Grange was perfect. The facilities for camping were superb; kitchen,... More

We booked for one night as we were going to a wedding locally. What a treat! On arrival we had a great waggy tail welcome from Biscuit the Labrador, followed by beautiful homemade scones and jam on the lawn. Super tastefully decorated home from home. The cooked breakfast was plentiful, in terms of taste and quantity. I would definately recommend... More

We have stayed at The Grange four times and hope to stay there again. Mary & Mike are everything you would wish for as hosts, the accommodation is fantastic, roomy, immaculate & comfortable with everything provided. A substantial breakfast sets you up for the day especially if you like to walk, simply step out of the front door & you... More
