Okay so for a family trip we all went to alton towers scarefest..after booking the hotel we then read the reviews..suxh as haunted..terrible.. but we thought people were expecting alot..and rather looked forward to a spooky encounter. We decided to book this through laterooms.com. It was cheap and local to alton towers where we where visiting. We had booked it for two nights, however on arrival we where not impressed! The car park was messy, old glasses everywhere overflowing ashtrays. And the hotel was run down inside too. Holes in the walls paper hanging off the ceiling.... More

Me and my boy friend stayed here for originally 2 night as we were visiting Alton Towers. We booked it because it was only £40 a night and close to the park, and seemed nice on the photos. When we got there the first thing we saw was the for sale sign outside the front of the building! Paint was... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here the night before a trip to Alton Towers, and as the title says, it is easily the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Broken and draughty windows, everything was dirty and/or stained, the noise from the road outside came through the front window which was also broken, the floor creaked, the corridor outside... More

The bathroom door opened on its own in the middle of the night, loud bells ring through out the night. They were not serving food while we stayed there due to unknown reason. Worst nights sleep ever. Very creep

Just called into the White Hart for an afternoon drink in the sun in their beer garden. Not our first choice in Uttoxeter however little options of beer gardens around. Would have been lovely as well .. If we had found anyone to serve us. After nearly ten minutes of waiting at the bar we walked out, alongside another couple... More

Firstly, initial impression of the hotel was that it was going to be a nasty one. But, I was greeted warmly on arrival, all the staff I made contact with were very polite and helpful, I took three rooms for my party of 5, they were all differing in style. One was the dark wood four poster room, the other... More

1st half...we arrived after a trip to alton towers to a warm and friendly reception. We had meals which were really nice and a great value for money. 2nd half... when entering the room pillows had no cases on them, we were told that we would have some soon and none came. Also the shower was either scorching hot or... More
