Stayed here as we were going to an evening wedding reception at Drayton Manor. Friendly staff at check in who informed us the painters were in the corridors and to be careful of the paint. There was a slight smell of paint but nothing too bad. Room very clean and the bed was so comfortable with lovely pillows. On arrival... More

This is my second stay. Stayed here on a visit with the family to Drayton Manor. Rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds!! Lots of room, blackout curtains meant we got a lay in!! We ate in the restaurant Table Table next door which was great value for money, lovely staff and nice out door area. Kids loved it too.... More

This shares a car park with the local TableTable and when I arrived I found the park itself very full. This isn't a fault of the hotel - there was a social function on that day - but guests may want to check beforehand. Usual efficient check-in: my reservation details were printed out so it was just a matter of... More

Stayed here for two nights for a trip to drayton manor. I can only echo all the great reviews. Very clean and beds are lovely and comfortable. Loved the black out curtains. Staff are very friendly. We had breakfast and dinner both days in the adjoining table table and everything was great in thew too. Would stay here again.

Stayed here when visiting the snow dome and managed to get it on a £29 deal on a bank holiday Sunday! Restaurant next door is ideal however we didn't gave breakfast there as it's quite expensive. This is exactly what I'd expect and wanted from a premier inn. An easy walk in to town and to the snow dome.

Had a lovely stay. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again. Don't recommend meals at the adjoining pub though as service slow. We went to morrisons for breakfast which was half the price of table table. Only negative of this premier inn was that the toilet was a bit dirty round the seat on arrival.

This is a pretty typical Premier Inn - that is either quite new or has had a recent refit. The rooms are clean and simple. We paid for breakfast which is served in the adjacent Centurion Pub next door. This is a buffet continental with a cooked to order English if you want it. Quality of the food is good.... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay here as a base to visit Drayton Manor and Cadbury World with our 2 children aged 4 years and 8 months in a family room. Lovely welcome from the receptionist who took the time to speak to our 4 year old guessing we were taking him to Thomas Land. Pleasantly suprised to find... More

We booked this as a one night stopover after a busy day at Drayton Manor, before going on the Lake District. We had booked two family rooms as we are mum, dad and two young sons and thought it would give us plenty of space. Upon check-in the receptionist went out of his way to explain that we could have... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Premier Inn Tamworth South. The UK's fist greenest hotel bringing together the best environmental initiatives to help us towards a greener future. With our 20 ensuite bedrooms, flat screen free view TVs, adjoining restaurant (The Centurion Table Table), Air-cooling and 24hr reception. We are one of a very select few that is a Green Hotel. Here is why we are Green.1)We heat and cool the hotel using the earth's natural energy using a special underground pump. Four heat probes, 130 metres below our hotel, take advantage of the earths natural energy to dump heat in the summer and cold in the winter.2) Re-using water. All toilet flushes use grey (recycled) water - water re-used from showers and baths plus 50% of rainwater from the roof. This provides 100% off all toilet water and will save 20% of the entire water usage.3) Sustainable wool from British sheep is used in the walls creating exceptionally efficient thermal and acoustic insulation. Heat loss of the hotel is reduced by 60%4) Solar power. Solar panels have been used on the hotel's south facing roof. They can produce hot water to the system with almost no energy used. The system is expected to generate 11.740kWhr per year - enough for 1000 baths a year!5) All lighting is low energy thanks to LED's that produce high light levels while only using 5 Watts per bulb, this coupled with motion detectors means the lights are not left on. An 80% saving against standard lighting methods.6) All materials used are locally and sustainable sources. Timber is used rather than concrete where possible and when concrete is used it is a low cement that has been locally sourced. Our use of carbon has been reduced by using natural resources, sustainable materials, such as external timber cladding, and recycled materials, such as plasterboard and rendering. ... more   less
