hotel is old and grubby, beds are very uncomfortable, sofa beds are even worse! bathrooms are thick with black mould! extractors do not work in bathrooms as they have been switched off!, apparently because they keep setting off fire alarm. The manager as at 30/05/14 lies to customers! TV's about 20 years old and so small you have trouble seeing... More

Stopped in lots of travel lodges in the past and rooms have been as expected. The two children complained that there beds were very uncomfortable, one been a bed on the flood and gage other a sofa bed. I felt the beds and they were very hard and you could feel the wooden supports underneath not a good nights sleep.... More

Stayed at this hotel as it was the closest to Alton Towers. The price was great and the cheapest by a long way to any other hotel or b and b. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped me upstairs with my suitcase. The only negative is that the rooms in the hotel need updating, the tv in... More

We stayed here for one night, to break up the journey from the south coast to Scotland. We chose this hotel mainly because they take dogs, albeit for a £20 surcharge. The room was tired, a bit grubby and slightly damp smelling but the bed was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The setting is fantastic. They have a... More

we stayed at the m6 travellodge for a weekend visiting alton towers nearby. hotel was clean enough, just basic, somehwere to put your head for the night. about half an hours drive from alton towers it was the most reasonable priced for £62 for 2 nights in a double room. One of the staff there in particular, think his name... More

This Travelodge is a perfect location for traveling North and South. Room are large and quiet but the decor is really tired, suprised the brand have not brought this up to their normal high standards. In terms of value for money, for £25 you can complain too much.

Recently stayed here on the way to alton towers, booked that afternoon at a bargain price of £28! Found it, although the service station is badly sign posted, all very dark! Joe served us and was very helpful, offering is takeaway menus and a guide on how to drive to alton towers. Very quiet night at back of hotel and... More

This travelodge is a bit rundown but most of them are now. Reception staff member Ryan was so helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Recommended eating places and how to get there. Bathroom toiletries not what they used to be. Lots of perks disappeared or cutback but still have tea/coffee facilities and a flat screen TV. About a half... More

This hotel provided a surprisingly good nights sleep as it is on the M6 Northbound near to Stafford. Eating is in the motorway service area and is expensive. Parking is free but you must register your car with reception or the vehicle recognition cameras will pick up your car reg and you will get a PNC in the post as... More
