So me and my partner were travelling down south to visit friends and chose to stop here as it was half way. Well I have never been so disappointed! Don't get me wrong I do not expect motor way 'hotels' to be great but the fact I couldn't even sleep because the springs were sticking through the mattress was too... More

Since arriving home I don't know how I came to the conclusion this hotel WAS near Alton Towers as it is approximately 35 mins drive away. My own homework is to blame for the distance however I do recall this being advertised as being close-by but it's not, I assure you. Bathroom was disgusting. 3 tiles on floor had clearly... More

We were en route to another dog show. Reception staff were well trained and friendly, even though we arrived before 3 pm check in. Linen and towels were spotless. Our request for an iron and board was met quickly. Yes, there was some traffic noise, but the hotel is on the M6 - what do you expect?

I booked this hotel for 3 nights for a family holiday to alton towers. This was not a suitable hotel for a family. We were snubbed by the managed on arrival and told that all family rooms were booked out. We asked if we had a family room and were told yes. When we got into the room it was... More

We stayed last night. We arrived just before midnight and in time to see the receptionist who was very pleasant. Access from the M6 Southbound was easy as was parking. The room was larger than I had expected with all amenities for an overnight stay. Linen was clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was a bit tired but the bath,... More

A last minute decision to make an overnight stop en route from N England to S West came up with a £25/night room at Days Inn Stafford. No other choice came near on price but would it be bearable? No worries! A clean and presentable room with en suite, a comfortable bed, a warm room with almost immediate access to... More

Having read through the reviews I booked 2 nights when staying in the area. I think you have to have realistic expectations when booking a sub £35 room. It's pretty much what you would expect: a fairly basic overnighter. It met the standards of other Roadchef Days Inn I've used, and met its purpose Checkin was a little delayed whilst... More

Have stayed in a few days inns but this was definatley the best. Stated here to visit Alton towers with our 2 children. Only £35 for a family room. When we walked into the room we were suprised to find out how big it was with practically a whole separate room for the kids and proper single beds as apposed... More

This was my first time staying in a Days Inn. I'm very much used to UK budget hotel chains (Travelodge et al) so I don't think my expectations were unfairly high or anything. As soon as I opened the door to the room, I was hit by a very strong odour. Think stale urine. Nice. The bathroom was actually dirty.... More
