Location great for walking into Rugeley town & on arrival reception staff were really friendly & helpful offering information about local pubs & restaurants. Hotel & room really well prepared & maintained & found to be quiet & comfortable. Will certainly use this location again if need arises.

Room was spotless. Location was close to where i needed to be.The only fault i could find was that the room could of done with a new carpet and possibly a new bathroom but overall we had a brilliant stay. I have stayed at many Travelodges in the last year, but can say the team at Rugeley Travelodge went above... More

Basic, clean and comfortable. Good location, Central to all local shops, pubs and eateries. Being by the duck pond was a bonus especially for walking the dog. Good wetherspoons within 5 minute walk or Burger King (which was a bit nasty) right on your doorstep.

Good location right In the town centre, free parking but the actual hotel is a bit of a let down. It needs either knocking down or refurbishing, tiles missing off the walls I the bathroom, paint scrapes along the wall, towels were threadbare, next to a children's park so if your not woken up to children screaming it's swans fighting.... The hotel was clean warm comfortable and had very helpfull staff without being pushy as some hotel staff are . they made the stay comfortable and were willing to help when called upon in a courteous and proffesional manner

The staff were great but the hotel itself was run down, dingy and smelled musty. The edges of everything were dirty, worktops were stained and lamps broken. Paint splattered the walls where the decorating was done in a shoddy and rushed way.

We stayed for one night. Reception were really welcoming and gave us loads of information about the local area. the room was clean and the bed really comfy. beware noisy ducks and geese on the lake behind, but it was lovely to walk round the next morning.
