Don't let the power station location put you off! This Inn was clean, smart, had the best friendly staff and had the calmest atmosphere of any place I have stayed in. "A good location to get to places."

Stayed here for one night and got exactly what you'd expect from the newer Premier Inn hotels. The room was clean and tidy, plenty of parking, flat panel TV and good bed. Very quiet hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet to the usual Premier Inn standard. Only point of note is that the windows are sealed and the... More

The room was fine, you get what you pay for and at least it was quiet. I did not realise it was so close to the power station, rooms at the back of the hotel all overlook massive power station chimneys pumping out steam, and the front overlooks a mcdonalds. I booked a twin room but got a double bed... More

A fantastic new hotel, Friendly staff, Clean large modern room, I slept well. There is a large restaurant/pub next door. I had a drink there but passed on the breakfast which i think was too expensive at over £6. If you were to eat everything on the menu it would be value for money. But i only wanted toast and jam,... Hotel was meant to be close by to Alton Towers but was a 40 min drive away! Not a great nights sleep. If it wasn't the aircon wurring away keeping me awake it was the heat in the room. Rooms very small for a family of 4. We were all on top of each other and the meal in the... More

Used for a one night stopover on our way back from Manchester last week - clean bedroom and bathroom, usual great Premier Inn beds, pillows and sheets. Doesnt have the latest TV/media units like some we have stayed in but very comfortable nonetheless. Only downside is location - the post code provided is a new one so didnt show up... More

We stayed here for Alton Towers. It was around a 30 min drive. Good location and very clean and tidy. There were 6 of us in all. 2 adults, 3 children aged between 6-8 and a baby. The room was just about big enough to house us all. The food was lovely in the restaurant next door. We had dinner... More

The staff are welcoming, unfortunately my 9 year old daughter had an uncfortable nights sleep due to the mattress being very poor and she could feel the base of the bed! Apart from not having the best nights sleep the restaurant next to the premier Inn was lovely, the food was great and the staff made you feel very welcome.

We booked 3 nights for the v festival - it was inexpensive and great value for what we wanted. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and there was sitcom too. Table table next door or mcdonalds over the road. Free parking and I thought easy to find - let's face it there's a huge power station... More

We stayed here on a visit to Alton Towers. The hotel is in front of a large power station, with some strange smells on the journey to the hotel. The restaurant is situated next to the hotel, a very short walk. The day we went to eat at the restaurant, it seemed to be very short staffed, we had to... More
