I visited the Dun Cow for lunch as part of a group of about 30. Sometimes a group of this size causes problems for restaurants but not n the case of the Dun Cow. We were welcomed by friendly staff, had our meals brought promptly and the quality of the food was excellent. One little comment the lunch time menu... More

I thoroughly recommend Ye Olde Dun Cow the room was large, clean and very well appointed. We ate in the pub both evenings, they have a very reasonably priced menu if you dine before 7pm. The food was great and the breakfast was cooked to order which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

What a great place. Rooms were nice and clean, food was well priced and of exceptional quality and the owners and staff went well out of their way to make us feel welcome. For example, race morning I left at 5 am missing breakfast. When the owner found out he had sandwiches ready for me to take that morning. If... More

We needed a pit stop on route to somewhere else and what a good choice we made. Easy to find with plenty of parking and swift check in even though the pub was quite busy. It was 8.45pm when we arrived so they prepared us a table and laid the menu's out while we took our bags up to our... More

We stayed in the Bnb for one night and had the best meal we've had in a loooong time! (And we work in a GastroPub) Georgie was fantastic as a host, the room was really clean and comfy and we still talk about this place even after 2 weeks. Will definitely be back!

We, the wife and I were more than pleased with our meal which was off the set menu and included three courses. The soup starter was the tastiest mushroom soup I've had in a long time and the main course was superb, congrats to the chef and with great difficulty we tucked away a pudding and managed coffee also, we...
