What a great place. Rooms were nice and clean, food was well priced and of exceptional quality and the owners and staff went well out of their way to make us feel welcome. For example, race morning I left at 5 am missing breakfast. When the owner found out he had sandwiches ready for me to take that morning. If... More

We needed a pit stop on route to somewhere else and what a good choice we made. Easy to find with plenty of parking and swift check in even though the pub was quite busy. It was 8.45pm when we arrived so they prepared us a table and laid the menu's out while we took our bags up to our... More

We stayed in the Bnb for one night and had the best meal we've had in a loooong time! (And we work in a GastroPub) Georgie was fantastic as a host, the room was really clean and comfy and we still talk about this place even after 2 weeks. Will definitely be back!

This place really does have the right balance exceptional food at a very affordable price....doesn't break the bank and leaves you wanting to return for more ....which we have. Lunch time menu is fab I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. I love this place it's brilliant.

Went to Dun Cow on Saturday with all the family for 45th wedding anniversary had a great time, Thanks to Christian & Georgina the food & hospitality could not have been better and all 5 of the kids loved it and that takes some doing. We, the wife and I were more than pleased with our meal which was off the set menu and included three courses. The soup starter was the tastiest mushroom soup I've had in a long time and the main course was superb, congrats to the chef and with great difficulty we tucked away a pudding and managed coffee also, we... Can't say much about the hotel, however we went here for food and were very underwhelmed, food was basic and bland and very overpriced, restaurant was lacking atmosphere and the service was lacklustre, won't be visiting again

Had a Sunday lunch with family, lovely gravy and Yorkshire pudding spoilt by salad potatoes with their skins left on. Fabulous puddings, mediocre slightly boring starter and price for what you get is high. And the drinks are expensive
