Stayed in this lovely little place for my wedding night after getting married at Consall Hall Gardens as its just around the corner. It's a cosy little place with the rooms situated around a small court yard. The room we stayed in was quite spacious with a really comfortable bed, our own en suite bathroom which seemed to be converted... More

Stayed one night, travelling solo. My small room had double bed and very small ensuite with a sloping ceiling - duck or bump your head while using the wc. Attractive rural setting, and house festooned with ivy. This has a negative effect on the property however, causing some damp problems and a musty smell. Decor in both bedroom and breakfast... More

Booked this about 5pm on the night I was travelling up- and even arriving late evening was not an issue for the host Rolf. It is just 9 miles from Alton Towers-and best bit driving through back roads avoided all the main traffic jams. Accomadation was superb value for money-Eaxctly what we needed after a tiring drive up. Converted 150... More

A friend and I stayed here overnight before going to alton towers the next day. It is a short drive to the nearest restaurants for dinner, but we picked up a fish and chips, and could use the dining room to eat, with Rolf providing plates, knives and forks for us to use. The room was really nice, with an... More

In the area for one day on business and stayed here. A quaint family owned and operated guest house, lovely setting with a little country courtyard right outside my door. My en-suite twin room was spacious and in a country cottage style, fixtures and fittings all of a high standard, flat screen TV, even a CD player with an assortment... More

We stayed here for three nights in June 2013. It was such a lovely place . The owners were very very good as we were late arriving and had family and friends meeting us at the B and B . And they let them wait for us in the lounge and made them all a lovely cup of tea which... More

We had three wonderful nights here and can't say enough about the friendliness, quality and value for money this place has to offer. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start. We were attending a wedding at The Three Horseshoes and decided against staying there at the ridiculous price asked for a basic room (Without breakfast), phew... More

We stayed for four nights in September 2013. My parents had the very spacious room 1 with a wonderfully comfortable bed, and I stayed with my daughter in room 3, also a good size and opens onto a lovely courtyard. The owners are the most wonderful hosts and really went out of their way to make our stay very relaxing.... More

We stayed for a couple of nights over the late May bank holiday. The room was delightful with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and we were wonderfully looked after. We were looking for somewhere to have dinner on the first evening and they rang round for us to find a pub serving dinner.
