Bit of a hidden gem this one. A cut above your normal chain hotel (of which there are not many in Leek). Travelling on business... - Great room, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable bed - Excellent bathroom with Jacuzzi bath in the room I had and powerful shower - Good food in the bar - Excellent breakfast - Good service... Our large group, consisting of 12 adults and 11 children were sharing a large nearby house for the New Year's week, needless to say, we craved a good walk and sustenance, after New Year's Eve celebrations. We had booked the Three Horseshoes for lunch on the strength of good reviews and were pleasantly surprised to find it surpassed them. Rowdy... More

I visited this lovely pub which was recommended to me i thought £17.95 was expensive for a steak they couldn't cook medium an every bite was fatty an not pleasant. The chips where never triple cooked infact the last couple where not cooked at all i think the best bit was my mushroom .

We ate here today with our extended family, we visit every year for a pre Christmas get together. As always the food, service and location was excellent, thank you to all the team at the Three Horseshoes.

We visited the Three Horseshoes on a Friday evening for a quick carvery, the restaurant was busy (always a good sign) but as always the service was excellent, we were seated and our orders taken very quickly. The choice of meats was smaller than usual (just two roasts) however the quality and portion was excellent. For a good quality roast... More

My husband and I visited the three horseshoes and stayed the night. Room was clean and comfortable.. A couple of minor issues in the bathroom that the plug did not work in the sink..a bit mean on the tea tray leaving only 3 biscuits between the two of us..pleasant staff and nice food but a bit pricey for £170 ..... So glad we went here rather than Toby where would usually choose to go on a Sunday for a carvery ! Food was delicious and a selection of meats which included lamb beef pork and gammon. Had a gorgeous broccoli cheese and yummy roast potatoes! Will definitely go back x

Great hotel. Warm friendly welcome. Great service. Room 107 for 2 nights. Lovely room- big comfortable bed, crisp white sheets. I loved the ensuite. Wonderful food. Whether you choose the carvery, the Brasserie or bar food- all are very good. Hearty breakfast. If I had to make a criticism it would be on the size of the TV, it could... More

Such lovely bargain rooms. Very spacious and comfortable rooms and especially large bathroom. Amazing standard and lovely staff. TV a bit on the small side, but that's me being picky. A 25min scenic drive from Alton Towers. Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in in the UK.
