Stayed there last night whilst working in the area. Brilliant warm welcome, warm cosy room, Gill could not do more to make the stay pleasure, definitely staying here when in the area in future. Breakfast amazing.

On arrival the room was tired round the edges & a bit old fashioned. Further investigation showed the room was dusty, dirty in places & bathroom bin hadn't been emptied since previous guest. The owner was pleasant & helpful. The breakfast was good.

This is a lovely, homely B&B with Jill, the owner, doing her utmost to help in any way possible. We have two dogs and were made to feel really welcome. This is a great place to stay to visit the area, with the National Memorial Arboretum a couple of miles away. The breakfasts are superb, freshly cooked and with hens... More

B&B extremely convenient for visiting relatives in Alrewas. Owner, Jill, very friendly and flexible to ensure our stays were as comfortable as possible. Homely atmosphere. Great, delicious breakfasts. Clean, comfortable rooms that represent very good value for money. Solid double glazing resulted in minimal sounds from traffic on busy A38 dual carriage way.

We stayed living in this perfect bed & breakfast for 2 weeks until we found a house, and was a perfect stay. The owner, Gill, was really nice and friendly person, always ready to help us and trying to make our long stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast were fantastic, a big menu in which choose and just cooked... More

Lovely warm welcome on arrival, big fuss made of our dogs. Room great, location fab for our daily venue of Catton Hall. Breakfasts wonderful - great socialising with out fellow guests! Gill an excellent hostess - we have already requested to go back. Great dog walk in the fields extremely close by too.

This is a pleasant B&B which feels like home. Very professional and helpful landlady, nice house on the slip road to the A38. The road has bizarre house numbering, as the first part of it is Rykneld Street, and the bit past the service station starts numbering again as Burton Road, which is what you need. Amber House is very... More
