The staff try hard but the accomodation is exceptionally basic. The sole amenity is a vending machine that doesn't work correctly. The rooms are cold and uninviting. The bathroom are bleak with rusting radiators which have been cut off at the cable. A miniscule bar of soap is provided for two people for two day.

A great stop off on the way to St Georges Park after a long drive. Great value for money, the staff were excellent and the room was spotless. Why stay at the Hilton when the travelodge offers you all you need

stayed here on 19th and 20th january, have to say after the bad reviews, wasn't looking forward to our stay, but have to say found it pleasantly surprising, the room was warm and clean and the bed comfortable, the staff were welcoming and helpful and nothing was to much trouble, i stayed with my daughter before visiting family and even... This is a pretty bog-standard Travelodge. Given a choice in future, I would stay here again instead of it's northbound companion. It's larger, and feels less isolated. The entrance/exit sliproads are better maintained. Even if you're travelling north, it's no hardship to go up to the next junction and turn around (in either direction).

I have stayed at this Travelodge, off and on for a number of years now. And even though the rooms are usually between £19 & £29 per night, I have never ever had a dirty or bad room and never been treated badly. Yes it is looking a tad tired and dated, but at those prices, I wasn't expecting the... More

Oh my giddy aunt.........this hotel was booked on my behalf for reasons i cant be bothered to talk about in this review. My colleague and I were booked into this hotel and it was nasty! It was run down and in really in a bad state of repair. The main entrance to the hotel was shabby and very outdated. It... More

Although we got a very cheap deal for our 1 night at this TL, it is certainly old and shabby Firstly it is such a dangerous location right on the A38 S/Bound a nightmare to get out of as traffic is moving so fast. The Little Chef which used to be at this site is now closed down and boarded... More

Not the worst place I have ever stayed but miles from the best. It was however functional and very cheap. Probably not going back unless I have to. Sad there is no little chief. Noisy and v poor mattress. But clean and good friendly staff.

Stayed here on a Thursday night due to an early appointment at a nearby hospital Friday morning. Friendly greeting on arrival, room was a family room, clean and fresh, no complaints for the price we paid, quiet even though facing the A38, would use again, only downfall is no hot food available, little chef is boarded up and need to...
