I made the long trip to Derby on a Tuesday evening and stayed at the Burton travelodge over night for one night. I couldn't find the place as there is two and my directions aren't great, the receptionist was lovely and gave me a menu from the takeaway as getting on and off the motorway was a no no as... More

Stayed in this one a few times now. Always dirt cheap. Pleasent staff. Rooms clean enough. Not the best travelodge but does exactly what it says on the tin. Cheap as chips and clean. With a comfy bed.

Look, the price was right and it was a few miles from where I wanted to be. That is where it ends. The reception guys were spot on, the hotel however is very tired and dog ear'd. Not easy to get food or a drink as you have to venture out in the car and you are on a very... More

This Travelodge hasn't been updated and is in need of being 'refreshed' - we recently stayed in one that has been redecorated and te difference was obvious. However, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our main frustration was that it wasn't clear from the website that there are two sites (one on the north bound and one... More

Me, my wife & our twin girls checked in at this Travelodge. We were greeted by a very friendly guy at reception who introduced himself as 'Mad' Mick. We were checked in quickly & shown to our room. Even though the hotel had not yet been refurbished our room was still satisfactory for our stay. The stay was made extra... More

If you want a no fuss, no hassle stay, with fresh comfy beds and pillows, free parking, very friendly staff, this Travelodge is great. Its basic, but for a few days its comfortable. Only issue is poor phone signal

Been staying here now for the past 4 weeks. I work in the nearby town of Swadlincote and highly recommend this overlooked gem. Firstly, the staff. Everyone is great. I've gotten on well with all reception staff and in particular, Mick who will do absolutely anything to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The room is clean and... More

Stayed here for one night and it was very comfortable. We actually went to the northbound one accidentally but the lady was great with directions to lead us to the southbound Travelodge. Mick checked us in and was brilliant, he even put an order through for us for takeaway and delivered it to our room. I work in a four... More

Firstly I am hoping I have the correct Travelodge, secondly I apologize for the very late review that we intended to leave when we arrived back home, Our stay was superb and we have not one complaint, staff were very helpful and always courteous and even helped with finding places to eat, we stayed for a few days and had... We arrived and was greeted by the most helpful receptionist. A very warm welcome and couldn't help enough. Demi you are a credit to Travelodge. Thank you for your help. Room was basic but that's what you pay for. It was very clean. :)
