Although check out was 12 the staff were outside banging about and hoovering so you had to get up even after a late night so don't feel rested we had gone to a funeral and just needed some peace and quiet but did not get it also we were at the back of the hotel and there is a factory... More

In a n odd location, had to drive a few more miles past Travelodge A38 North to the next couple of junctions and then back down again. The place was nice, it had a bath in the room ahhhhhhhhhhhh. I got to discover the Marina and Barton under Needwood which I would not have otherwise, that was nice too. Stop... More

My wife and I stayed here mainly in order to allow our son to use our house for a 21st birthday party (aren't we nice parents!) To be honest, most Travelodges are much of a muchness, and this one was just as expected; warm room, comfy bed, professional staff, clean toilet, working shower, television with no decent programmes on it,... Great value hotel. It is basic but very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff on reception. The only issue is that there is no footpath from the hotel to the nearby village. Even a gated access to the rear of the hotel would enable guests to walk to the nearby waterfront/marina. Taxi or car only.

Near to Burton on Trent but a little in the middle of nowhere. The Hotel itself is very good but has no eating facilities close at hand although you can order in. Unfortunately, we had a family of heavy footed humans above us whyich spoiled it although, they didn't make a noise very late at night. The bed and pillows... More

It was a basic hotel. Myself and my partner used this hotel frequently. It was basic, simple and fine for what we needed it for, which was simply a meeting place, and place to sleep, before travelling elsewhere together. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds

Well a bit of a beggar to find as the postcode when put into the Sat Nav will take you passed the front door and to the North side building That apart the hotel and the room number 5 were spotless very basic but its a budget, so that's OK The double glazing was spot on as were the curtains... Stayed here for one night while travelling through the area on the way to Alton Towers. We found it a bit awkward to find as the postcode takes you to the travelodge on the north side of the carriageway, but other than that the stay was very good. Friendly, clean, quiet.
