We have just had 2 nights at The Three Queens and had a really lovely weekend. Burton is full of character an the hotel is very central. We were fortunate enough to get an up grade and had the Victoria suite which whilst be a little dated was really lovely. We had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in our... More

Having had our booking at a dfferent out of town hotel screwed up (The MW), leaving us with no room and the prospect of nowhere to stay, the Three Queens not only took us in at 22:30, but gave us such wonderful service. The reception staff were so welcoming, accommodating and just all round nice. The room was comfortable, spacious... More

As a one night only booking (breakfast included) it was perfect. All most travellers really want, is a clean room with everything in working order and this is what we got. We stayed in the annex (cottage) next door in a spacious ground floor room. However, although there were windows, we could not open it (and I tried!). So no... More

This sprawling, unloved edifice, promises little and delivers less. From the charmless rooms, desperate for air conditioning or ventilation, to the doleful public areas and the insipid breakfasts. The place had the feel of an un loved rest home without the lifts. One which I commented to a member of our party I would rather shuffle off this mortal coil... More

Stayed here for 1 night (Saturday 21st June) and only booked it because it came up as the cheapest, but it was certainly not a cheap experience. From the greeting off the young lad in Reception, when we arrived, through to our talk with the Night Porter, followed by fantastic service at Breakfast and finished off by the lovely goodbye... I enjoyed my stay here. It's got a lovely little bar with sofas and a big TV to watch the sport. The Wi-fi was adequate with no issues. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. The staff were efficient with a speedy check in / check out. There is a car park on site and you can walk to... More

Good location for town, we stayed and got a taxi to a wedding a few miles away. Hotel has a good big car park and is easy to find, nice friendly staff. creaky old stairway from the original building gives an authentic feel. Room in the main building with a bath, clean and tidy, old fashioned homely funiture, wardrobe etc.... More
