Stayed here for 1 night . Room was in the lodge. Room- very spacious, very clean, very good quality linen and towels, good shower, well stocked tea/ coffee tray. 3 flights stairs to room, not sure if there is a lift? But we were fine with the stairs. Check in and check out excellent, efficient. Hair dryer was faulty in... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. I was travelling alone & stayed in a standard double room. The room was a good size with separate bathroom. Some of the bathroom fittings were tired and in need of repair but standard of cleanliness was good. Shower was dissappointing. Something i personally value. Bed was very comfortable. The... More

This hotel has changed hands a few times since 1990 when it was a Berni Inn. The present owners have had it since 2013 and they are trying to bring it into the 21st century. With the lodge it boasts 62 rooms, however the stairs in the lodge are old, and twisting and tricky to navigate. Room 223 and 224... More

We stayed at The Three Queens this weekend 8th-10th August. We had a lovely clean room with good sized bathroom, as we were on a Living Social Deal, we had wine on our arrival in the room and a three course meal on the first night. The food in the restaurant is excellent we paid £5 extra to choose from... More

We stayed for one night. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had all the required amenities with a good sized bathroom. Have to mention Paul who greeted us after a (very) long night out - he was brilliant! We will stay here again.

Stayed for a couple of nights in single room(s) - had problems with the aircon which resulted in a move from one room to another, then had the same problem again. The staff were excellent, being very helpful in trying to resolve my problem - similar helpfulness with the breakfast girls. Other reviewers have described the overall feel of the... More

I came into this hotel a few months back with some friends from burton and had some coffees served by a lovely welcoming receptionist. She was very helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. After this visit we came back about 2 weeks ago and a different lady was on reception she was very rude... More

We have just had 2 nights at The Three Queens and had a really lovely weekend. Burton is full of character an the hotel is very central. We were fortunate enough to get an up grade and had the Victoria suite which whilst be a little dated was really lovely. We had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in our... More

Having had our booking at a dfferent out of town hotel screwed up (The MW), leaving us with no room and the prospect of nowhere to stay, the Three Queens not only took us in at 22:30, but gave us such wonderful service. The reception staff were so welcoming, accommodating and just all round nice. The room was comfortable, spacious... More
