Traffic noise was bad and continuous throughout our one night there(we were told hotel full, so could not have changed to a room at rear). This situation was not helped by the fact that one window was open and could not be closed as there was no handle with which to make it secure. This had been completely broken off.... more

Large room, shared by 3 people. Clean, but in desperate need of refurbishment. Reception staff brisk but not particularly efficient - had to prise themselves off a personal telephone call to speak with us. We had a room fronting the A38, and wished we hadn't - traffic noise all lnight. more
