Stopped here at beginning of June for 2 nights with my husband, son (11) and daughter (8). Had a truly amazing time around the theme park. Was quiet and we got to go on all rides without standing for ages in queues! The rooms at the hotel are lovely and clean and staff are very friendly and more than happy... More

We stayed here at the end of June for one night as part of a 2 day visit to Alton Towers Theme Park. We got a good deal booking through Alton Towers website, especially with the Sun discount. The room had a double bed and bunk beds in and there was room for our son's travel cot too. The room... More

I stayed here with a friend in June (we are both 19) while we were at Alton Towers. We chose it because it was the cheapest of the three hotels and it is the one with the water park. The first thing you notice is that it is most definitely the kids hotel. This didn't bother us as we were... More

My husband & I stayed here last year. We loved our room, it was so colourful and followed the style of the rest of the hotel. The food was pretty good for breakfast & we ate in the main Alton Towers Hotel for dinner one night, the food in there was very nice and reasonably priced for an expensive hotel.... More

Stayed in the hotel for 1 night. Originally given a ground floor room which smelt of sick on entering and had a damp area on the carpet where it had obviously only recently been cleaned. On reporting to reception, staff could not have been anymore apologetic offering a new room immediately (an upgrade twice the size) offering to carry our... More

We stayed here for 2 days for sons birthday. Your adventure starts as soon as you walk through the door. There is a voice that talks to you, it sakes you a question and says press the red button, then bubbles come out. A huge deckchairs th climb on and push a button and it takes your photo. A small play... More

Just returned from a Two night stay in Splash Landings. Five adults, a 2 year old and 14 week old baby. We had two rooms in the normal rooms which are novel (Double bed and bunk beds). Just like in the brochure. They are big enough even to put the pram in. Beds were a bit hard but when you... More

Today we returned from the Alton towers resort. We stayed at the splash landings hotel. It was brilliant. The rooms were spotless and the staff were very friendly. It is better suited for young families with great puppet shows and disco aimed at 5 year olds. And because our children are older we would walk over to the Alton towers... More

Stayed here whilst enjoying 2 days in the theme park. Never again..... We stayed in a premier inn the night before staying here and although roughly the same nightly cost the difference was startling. Whilst I appreciate this is a themed hotel on entering the hotel the music playing was too loud and the whole reception and dinning area was... More

The kids absolutely loved it, but from a parents' point of view I have to say the room looked rather tired and in need of refurbishment. It was overall clean, but there were mould stains all over bathroom ceiling. (but as there is no proper air con what can you expect) Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.... More
