I had lasagne and ate it only because I was hungry, it was not good at all. it was completely tasteless, no flavour, it did have a lot of cheese on which was... More

We recently stayed at The Hunters Lodge Inn as we were attending a family wedding nearby. We had stayed at The Hunters Lodge previously and, again, found it comfortable and welcoming. The building itself has tons of character. Scott, the Duty Manager, couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. In fact, all the staff were friendly,... More

We stayed following a day trip to nearby longleat. We are a family of 4 and we're allocated a suite, it was a wonderful change for our children to sleep on a proper bed in a family hotel room rather than the usual z beds / sofa beds offered by other hotels. As a result of this we all had... More

We required easily accessible accommodation for my disabled mum to attend a wedding at Bruton and this was the only hotel in the area offering it - the staff were very helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable and the rooms well equipped. Cooked breakfast was good too. The only minor problem for us was the weak / intermittent wi-fi... More

We broke our journey here on the way to Dittisham, we had a fabulous room, actually we were given a suite, 1 huge double bed which was sooo soft and comfortable with fluffy pillows, a job to get out of in the morning.... with 2 singles in the room as well. Bathroom en suite, very good size, beautifully decorated with... More

Arrived early at the Hunters Lodge (about 10am) as I needed to do some work. I was greeted with a smile and told that my room would be ready at about 1pm but no problem with me sitting in the bar and working, as WiFi is available throughout the bar & accommodation. I was asked if i wanted any tea... More
