We chose to stay at Arden Cottage as Williton appeared to be a good base to begin The Coleridge Way ... Jane and Paul went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay - tea and cakes upon arrival, a lovely clean room, excellent breakfasts (the homemade granola and smoothies especially) and arranging a lift for the... Thank you very much for writing this kind review regarding your recent stay at Arden Cottage. We really enjoyed hearing about your possible connection with the Coleridge Way especially as it is part of the history of this area. Jane is happy to read that her home-made Granola and fruit smoothies were a welcome start to your days walking and... More

It has been a long time since we stayed at a B&B and I must say, what an experience. Paul and Jane, welcomed the four of us and the dog with such warmth, we settled in straight away. The lovely garden was perfect to sit in on a summers evening, sheltered from the wind. The accommodation was the best ever... More

It is a great comfort when we read such kind reviews from our Guests. We do our best to ensure our Guests are made to feel welcome and at home and it's reassuring when we read that we're doing it right. We love it when everyone gets on so well, especially our four-legged friends, who know when they're welcome. We... More

Couldn't really ask for better. My wife and I arrived really rather late and were held up on the way by traffic but Jane and Paul waited up for us and were incredibly accommodating. This B&B is a truly dog friendly place and our two terriers had a wonderful time romping around the garden and playing with the other canine... More

Hi to find you and 'the boys' fit and well? Thank you very much for our lovely review of your weekend spent with us. 'The boys' certainly had plenty of friends to play with and we were amazed at just how well they all got on together, not a cross word between them! We are very happy to read that... More

We were recommended this B&B by friends whom had heard that this B&B was special and in particular were dog friendly and how right they were. Jane and Paul are a lovely couple that made us all feel special and welcomed us into their home. Their home is relaxing, comfortable and caters for all. The breakfast were lovely and tasty.... More

My wife and I stayed at Arden Cottage for two nights and were very impressed with both the hospitality and accommodation. When we arrived in the afternoon, the hosts greeted us and offered us tea or coffee and a delicious home-made lemon cake. We have stayed in a number of guest houses over the years, but have to say that... More

A group of 6 of us were doing the Coleridge Way, which passes within a mile of the Arden Cottage. We decided to use this as the first night's stop off, and are very glad that we did. They were kind enough to pick us up from Sampford Brett and drop us back there the next morning, and the banana... More

Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for the weekend. Jane and Paul had thought of everything to make our stay homely and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, and would not hesitate to return when we are next visiting the area, especially now we know that our retriever would be welcome too! J and H

Probably the best b&b we have stayed in, says my husband, and I certainly agree (and we have stayed in some superb places). It is just the perfect coming together of all the key ingredients of house, hosts and food. Paul and Jane are amazing at sharing their beautiful thatched Somerset long house with guests and making you feel like... More

Jane and Paul are excellent hosts, making us and our adolescent GSD very welcome. They could not do enough for us, treating us more like friends than mere paying guests. The food was wonderful and the room light, airy and well equipped. This was our second visit and we hope to be back again!
