Hi. Arrived on a cold day in January for a five day stay as my daughter lives 5 minutes walk away but has no room for visitors. welcome was warm, I had the single room, which was next to the shower room. Room was comfortable and clean, apart from two spiders webs, but as cottage is old that wasn't serious.... More

Felt like part of the family, if you want an anonymous stay this is not for you, - cup of tea and cake on arrival, breakfast at the communal table with time to chat to hosts (and other guests if there). Both people and dogs are made welcome. Just beware if you are taller than 5.10 - it's a very... More

Arden Cottage is beautiful, Paul & Jane were so welcoming, my husband and I took our beloved dog along for his holiday, he was welcomed with open arms. The room was lovely, had all amenities we needed. A great choice for breakfast, the sausages were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable of area. We would love to return... Jane and Paul (and Lauren) are very attentive and hospitable owners of this lovely B&B. We (and our dog Sophie) were very comfortable in a beautiful bedroom and enjoyed delicious freshly-made breakfasts. Many thanks to you all for making our stay in Williton so happy.

Thank you very much for your review of your recent stay with us. You came to visit friends who were back in England for a short period, who we also knew, so it was lovely to have something in common to talk about at breakfast. Sophie your dog, was very chilled during her stay so was a pleasure to have... More

we have just arrived home after spending a long weekend at Arden Cottage. My husband Will & I and our Westie, Jackson had a truly wonderful time. There is a sign hanging in the cottage that says " arrive as strangers, leave as friends" and Jane and Paul certainly treated us as friends from the moment we arrived.....the cake and... More

Hello to all three of you, we've missed having such great company around the house. It is always a pleasure to look after couples who relax into the way of life at Arden Cottage. It's what we hope people will do, as we try our best to make it a 'home from home' experience. It is good to read that... More

My husband, children and I have just returned from a two night break at Arden Cottage along with our Springer Spaniel. From the moment we arrived we were all made to feel extremely welcome, even the dog! Paul and Jane are fantastic hosts and make you feel more like friends than paying guests, you really are home from home. The... More

It was lovely to read that as a family, including Gizmo (the Springer Spaniel) you all enjoyed your 2 night break away from it all. To be honest, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and it was a treat to be able to relax and enjoy the company of a family who appreciated the house, breakfasts, garden and atmosphere we... More

3 girls and our dog, Freddie, stayed here for the weekend. Jane and Paul are both very friendly with lots of stories to tell and they welcomed us with tea and cake when we arrived! We have stayed at Arden Cottage before, to break a journey to Cornwall. This time we had a BIG wedding in the area so we availed ourselves of the B&B and also Jane and Paul's dog sitting service. As before, we enjoyed our stay, and the dogs had no complaints after their extra two night sojourn. Indeed, the dogs sent... More

Our third visit to Arden Cottage. Very relaxing and enjoyable as always, with easy access to Exmoor, the Quantocks, the coast and the West Somerset Railway. It was good to see you both again as well as 'laid back' Dewi. We were very lucky to have the additional excitement of the Solar Eclipse during your stay and to enjoy the walk up onto the hills to get a better view from the welding goggles (not ideal we know, but better than nothing when used sensibly).
