We come to this beautiful place every year to be spoilt rotten by Margaret and Stephen. The food and the service is superb - from breakfast to afternoon tea and then the evening meal. It is great to bring our own prosecco and keep it in their fridge. The area is beautiful with a huge choice of walks too. ❤️

Cant recommend this bed and breakfast enough. Stephen and Margaret are the perfect hosts and really cant do enough for you. The food is amazing, the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and equipped and the lounge and dinning room are very cosy if you happen to visit 'not' in the height of summer!! Have just had my 4th stay at Sundial... More

Our hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The home-made cakes with which we were greeted were delicious, as was the substantial breakfast the next morning. Our room was comfortable and completely suited to our needs. I especially loved watching the birds from the breakfast room window. A lovely place to stay in a beautiful corner of the... More

I had a wonderful stay for two nights with two old friends on a walking trip and I can honestly say that it's the best B and B I've ever stayed in. The hosts were lovely and the place was spotlessly clean. I wish we'd dined there both evenings because the food was exquisite and very skillfully cooked. It was... More

I booked two rooms for friends who were visiting me in the village for the Bank Holiday weekend. They all loved staying with Margaret and Stephen for four nights and they have all ready said they will return again soon. Very clean well appointed rooms, fabulous breakfast and we booked an evening meal which was excellent. A lovely atmosphere, friendly... More

Stayed 3 nights, for group walk Coleridge way, rest at the pub. Had best option, lovely couple, nothing was too much trouble, comfortable. Afternoon teas, thanks Margaret. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Jane H. and Diana A.

Great location; run by 2 very friendly owners; homemade tea in late afternoon; very high standard of cooking - roast belly of pork on Saturday night was epic; great breakfasts; good value for money. We will definitely return!

An excellent B and B, and very friendly and engaging hosts. Nothing too much trouble, but nor intrusive. It's right on the crossroads, but actually road noise not a problem, though I suppose it might be in high summer. Can only endorse the positive comments of other reviewers, concerning rooms and breakfast etc .

Having visited this lovely B&B on many occasions we have never been disappointed. From your arrival to the time you leave nothing is too much trouble for Margaret & Steve. They are great cooks and very knowledgable about the local area - there is lots to do and enjoy. After a day out you really appreciate a fantastic 3 course... More
