We stayed at the Ivy house for two nights in May. It could not have been better. The welcome was friendly. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was excellent. We were in the smallest room - apparently - I thought it must be an upgrade! Excellent value for money. Heartily recommend it.

Stayed here two nights at the beginning of May at either side of a wedding at St Audries. We stayed in different rooms on each night and both were immaculately clean and very comfortable. Lovely bedding, complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast very nice and cooked to order. A great place to stay and we found Watchet itself very welcoming.... More

The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was superb. Would recommend it to anyone. We were on our way to our sons wedding and it was brilliant start to wedding weekend. Enjoyed a lovely evening meal in little pub by harbour and walk around small harbour.

Stayed at the Ivy House for 2 nights in April, can verify other comments re the excellent breakfasts and the nice cosy rooms. Stairs are quite steep to lug cases up, but that certainly isn't unusual in this type of property. One thing to watch is there is only parking for one car, there is parking available at an adjacent... More

The Ivy House is right by Watchet Station - great for train enthusiasts! Owners were very welcoming and we were upgraded to an available, larger bedroom. All facilities fantastic and free wifi. The breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful - set us up for the day. We had a lovely stay and it was a good base for exploring the... More

Just spent one night at the ivy lodge guest house In Watchet .We were there for a family funeral unfortunately but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice with a sea view..the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. It was right opposite the West Somerset railway station with steam trains running... More

My partner and I chose the Ivy House after looking at earlier Internet reviews from Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. We had Room 5, right at the very top on the third floor, with fantastic views of Watchet, the sea and the West Somerset Railway! The breakfasts were lovely, all prepared to order alongside the tables. Lynda and Terry... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful, very good breakfast, the room was very clean and well presented. I Would stay there again, and recommend it. There a couple of good local pubs serving good food and good beer (Real Ale), The Star and The Bell, again with friendly staff. There isn't a great deal to do in Watchet itself... More

What a little gem. We had only booked in for one night and would have stayed longer but they were fully booked the following night. Situated near to the marina in Watchet, this is a really nice B&B. Very clean, good wholesome food, charming hosts, and they welcome dogs. A word of warning, the stairs are a little steep but... More

A spotlessly clean and comfortable B&B run by friendly and welcoming hosts Terry and Linda. Particular mention must be made of the breakfast, freshly cooked 'theatre-style' in a corner of the dining room. Delicious! It's hard to be critical, but the back of the house overlooks the town and a large car-park that became rather noisy around pub closing time... More
