We stayed at Ston Easton Park this weekend. The house is very impressive and the decor, collection of artefacts is just the right side of being a museum. Staff are very friendly, knowledgable and very efficient . The standard of service is first class. The evening meal (included in our gift package) was superb and the service was very good.... More

We couldn't have asked for more during our stay! I had read the reviews beforehand and was a little worried about it being tired and expensive but as we were booking using Superbreak vouchers given to us as a christmas present it did seem like the best choice available on the website. We booked 2 nights with Afternoon Tea and... More

This is a truly lovely country house hotel, a real find. It is elegant, has such beautiful reception rooms - it is almost a shame to go out for the day, as you are missing spending the day in such a wonderful place. All you need is a good book, an Ipod or a newspaper and curl up on one... More

We spent two nights in October and have fallen in love with this place. As other reviewers say, the Palladian house is simply stunning. They will provide a history of the house and descriptions of the fabulous art and furniture in each room. Even our lovely large bedroom had oil paintings and antiques (as well as a King-sized bed, complimentary... More

My fiance treated me to a weekend here to celebrate our ten years together and I can quite truthfully say it was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in; in fact probably the best weekend of my life.More of a gorgeous country house than a hotel, Ston Easton Park has got everything exactly right, from the quietly... I stayed at Ston Easton once before, in 1986, based on the fact that the now defunct Egon Ronay Lucas Guide (1985) gave Ston Easton the highest rating of any property in England outside of London. It was ranked above such properties as Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons, Royal Crescent, Chewton Glen, and all others. Our stay then was wonderful... More

Having eaten in Michelin starred retaurants, it is beyond me why Ston Easton Park does not have one. It is the best food we have ever had without doubt. The grounds are spectacular and the room quiet and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Although relatively expensive, it is well worth a visit for a specal occasion.

Attended a wedding recently with the reception at the hotel and we stayed over. Everything on the day was so well organised - the drinks reception and canapes were first class. The wedding breakfast was top hole! and the service very effecient and unobtrusive. Our room ( a 4 poster) was very comfortable, A good size and the bathroom well appointed.... More

We always receive a very warm welcome upon our arrival at this lovely old country house even if we are just there to dine. The staff are friendly and relaxed but very attentitive. The house is full of lovely antiques and has a fabulous original kitchen in the basement. It is well worth taking a leisurely stroll around the extensive... More

We had a two night stay at this country house hotel set in beautiful countryside not far from Bath. On arrival we were shown around the ground floor which had a variety of rooms to sit in and drink, read magazines or generally relax. We were then taken up two flights of stairs to our room – pleasant with a... More
