Myself and my daughter decided to book a three night stay at The Overstream during half-term, when we arrived we were met by Maggie who told us where our room was located and then invited us to the guests lounge for a most welcome cuppa and the most delicious homemade biscuits. Nick, we met later, this couple work together and... More

On our travels we normally take our own touring caravan but as we only had 2 days more walking of the SW coast path to go decided this time to push the boat out and opt for bandb. How glad we were that we did and what a great choice we made with Overstream. Maggie and Nick made us most... More

Clean and comfortable room with good free wifi. Lovely free cream tea in the garden when we arrived. Plenty of parking at the rear and no problem to leave the car there for the day on which we left while we were out walking. Right in the middle of village close to shops and restaurants.

I stayed on the ground floor in a twin bedded room, I was given the impression by the owners that it was a" all singing and dancing " room. So I booked for 3 days. Yes it was clean and tidy, the shower room was tiny, however I could have put up with that,I had gone out for the evening and... More

We are sorry that you did not enjoy you stay with us and would like to confirm that we did attend to your complaint at the time it was made. We are disappointed, but not surprised at your review as you said you would do this if we did not give you a free stay. In view of your disingenuous... More

My partner and I only stayed here for one night as I was walking along the coast path but what a fantastic start to our mini-break! Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for our hosts and they truly seem dedicated to providing you with a first class experience during your stay. It was the attention to detail, such as... More

Good location in the centre of the village of Porlock with on site parking. Tea and cakes on arrival (on the house). Great breakfasts and comfortable rooms coupled with good service and value for money.

We just had a tea and scones here. The tea was generlously enough for two cups per person. The scone are just how they should be. Well made. The terrace gives a nice view on the street and is tranquille. The service informal.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Porlock, opposite the church – just look for the spire. Car park clearly signed to the rear of the building. We were soon at the front entrance being warmly greeted by Maggie who led us to a - First floor spacious room (lift available). Tea/Coffee/Biscuits. Wall mounted TV. Hairdryer. Alarm clock. Spare pillows in... More
