Stayed here for a night on the way to Devon. Well worth the small detour from the M5. I can't remember the last team I had a steak this good in the UK! The room has modern decoration and although the bathroom could be more modern, it was spotlessly clean and the shower was nice and powerful. The staff couldn't... More

This was my first meal in this pub and I was very impressed. It is a little way off the beaten track but worth the extra mile, the décor looks like it has just been refurbished and is spotlessly clean in all areas. The real ale choice is currently Doom bar or Otter both were served perfectly. My choice of... More

I came across this pub by accident on my Way back to Devon via Heathrow From a trip to Canada. I had 1 hr sleep on the overnight flight & was too exhausted to make it home. As soon as I met the Landlady, Sarah, I was greeted with such warm hospitality. Sarah even gave me Toothpaste, a Toothbrush, Deodorant... More

We visited end of October and found our stay exceptional, well run pub with friendly staff and owners, made time to chat with us and could not do enough. We will stay here again if we pass this way, great evening meal and a hearty breakfast. Highly recommend ! David Penzance

I was looking for somewhere good to take my wife to eat last week whilst making an overnight stop at an hotel close by. I carefully researched the reviews and chose The Five Dials. My wife had even decided what she would like to eat from the website menu (www.thefivedials.co.uk ). I mistakenly decided that I wouldn't need to make... More

Well what can I say- this place was amazing- although slight detour from the motorway- about 20 minutes and the room prices aren't cheap they are however, highly worth it. We only stayed overnight on our way to somewhere else. Lovely clean fresh room, neutral decor, in keeping with the style of the building etc. ensure wet room- very clean... More

The Inn is quite remote and we detoured fifteen minutes from the M5 Motorway to stay at the Five Dials Inn and we are so glad we did. Now, this is not about the accommodation, which was adequate, reasonably comfortable and clean, but the charming bar and restaurant is just what you need on a Winters night. The Landlady was... More

We stopped just one night here on our way from Cornwall and to visit friends, largely because of the location just off the A303 and the good reviews. We were very pleasantly surprised by the modern, attractive decor and the very pleasant, comfortable room. We were eating out but the menu with extensive fish options looked really appealing. The place... More
