Nice modernised country pub. What can be said! Clean, cheerful, good food, real ales, reasonable prices, comfortable....... So above average in pretty much every area. I only went here for a meal and it was nice to see that the main eating area is very much apart of the main pub and not a hidden away room like most places... More

Took the family here for a good meal a few days before we came to play music in the pub. The vegetarian meals were good and staff were attentive and friendly and the Sunday atmosphere a good mix of eaters and locals. Our gig the next Wednesday was well supported and staff looked after us well.

We received a very friendly welcome at the FIve Dials. We had pre booked a table for 12 for Saturday lunchtime and had ordered our food in advance, hence there was no waiting and the food was delicious. Sarah and Paul were very accommodating. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault a thing, will definately return.

Called in for lunch one day having seen very good reviews. had to wait a long time to be served but the menu warns that everything is cooked from fresh and it was very busy. Lovely tasty ham, well cooked chips. Drinks extremely good value.

Just had a 3 course Christmas meal here with work colleagues. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely eat here again. The pub was packed with other diners and everyone seemed well served and catered for.

The accommodation is superb - attractive, comfortable and very clean - and we can't imagine staying anywhere else in the future in this lovely part of Somerset. The breakfast was delicious too and the hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.
