The B&B itself was lovely with plenty of thought put into making our stay comfortable. The room was nice and great value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating at all times. Nothing felt like too much hassle. On New Years Day, a table was laid for us so that we could microwave a meal and enjoy a... More

Love this place! Took my 7 year old daughter. Room was beautiful (yes a tiny little bit of updating required), breakfast amazing, really good attention to detail, service excellent. Gebuinly can't wait to go back. The animals on site was a nice little extra. We are at the pub 5 mins walk down the road, delicious pies!

Came here with my other half for a birthday weekend to go to Longleat. The hosts were really welcoming and happy to help. Beautiful room, decorated beautifully with lovely bedding, towels etc. Biscuits and hot drinks were available in the rooms with fresh milk that could be taken from the kitchen. The breakfast was beautiful, loads of choice, all fresh,... More

Hosts were friendly, welcoming and informative on arrival. We had a family suite of two en suite rooms off one corridor which suited us perfectly as we were travelling with teenagers. The rooms were well equipped, spacious and clean. The DVD library was a nice touch and very useful. Wifi a bit variable and works best in the main building.... More

We arrived at around 21:30 and were greeted by the most friendly people who showed us around . Our room was amazing, spacious, comfy, convenient you name it it delivered . The views in the morning from the bedroom were stunning and the breakfast just set us off for a perfect day at longleat. We also had our 9 month... More

Stayed here for just one night with family. We had a king size room in the courtyard, and family members had a family suite in the main house. Both rooms were well furnished, comfortable beds, and all the attention to detail that you'd expect from a first class b&b. There were lost of extras, everything was thought of, even down to... More

We stayed here while we were visiting Longleat, it was a lovely hotel. Sam the owner and chef was lovely- his breakfasts were delicious, nothing was too much trouble and he enjoyed a chat making you feel very welcome. Sammy greeted us and also made us feel very welcome, our room was a great size with a huge bathroom, it... More

My girlfriend and I spent a single night here in October 2015 and came away with nothing but great things to say about the whole experience. What was a very spontaneous trip could have ended with disappointment, but that was not the case whatsoever with this B&B. The room (in the courtyard) was great. Ample size with everything you could... More

I have just returned from 2 nights at 'The Place To Stay' while I was in the area for a wedding. I booked one night , then several days later rang to book another night, so I had to stay in a different room on each night, but that wasn't a problem. The rooms are farm buildings which have been...
