Two nights spent at The Full Moon were very pleasant. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful, dinners were good, beer and cider selection ample, beer garden suitable for families and dogs, small indoor swimming pool a wonderful bonus and enough breakfast choice for everyone. The DVD player in one of the rooms was greatly appreciated. All the staff were... more

I enjoyed my time at the full moon, staff were very nice. The rooms were a little dull and old and could do with a refurbishment. the food was OK My family enjoed thier meal but me and my sister didnt. We had the Sausages and Mash and Chicken Burger. We stayed with family for a wedding. The setting is superb with far reaching views from French windows. Our family room was very generous with new full sized bunks for our two boys and still ample space for a cot. We were in the new building close to the small indoor pool, which we made good use of! Breakfast was... more

Lovely old coaching inn set in the countryside. The food was first class with much of it sourced from local farmers and the staff exceptionally helpful. (Don't miss the milk and butter from the local Jersey heard or the home made bread and jams.) A good selection of well kept beers and a proper village pub famous for it's sunday... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Full Moon for two nights 20th/21st March. We arrived late on the friday and were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our room. A large pleasant room in the newly converted barn, this room has been done to a good standard however the floor boards from the room above were a... more

Booked the hotel to meet up with Friends who travelled from the north and we up from the south. We booked it for convenience of location and the website description. On arrival we were greeted very warmly by the staff on duty who showed us to our rooms which were located across the carpark in a timber framed house. This... more

Pleasant pub between Frome and Trowbridge with good food and a number of rooms at a reasonable price. The new block of rooms are well furnished and are very quiet with good views. The floorboards creak quite a bit however. Food is good although quite a small menu it all tasted good every time (yes, spent many nights over many... more

We stayed at the Full Moon as a last getaway before the most hectic time of this year leading up to our wedding. We managed to get our time together without the phone and computer but it was marred by a few points that i would expect foremostly from an accommodation provider. Firstly - it was really noisy. Our room... more

I have just organised a hen Weekend for 18 people which used the Full Moon at Rudge for accommodation and the hen dinner. I am not sure where other reviewers were staying because I don't recognise the place they describe! For such a large group the accommodation was very good - although it would have been better if some of... more
