For a £150 pn B&B you'd expect the food to be pretty decent too, and glancing at the menu before I booked promised that. What a disgrace this was though, I felt v sorry for the waitresses/waiters who had to serve the muck out and then carry it back hardly touched. Room very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Service was brilliant. Superb friendly service made to feel like part of the family. Breakfast was good and set you up for the day ahead. Would most definitely recommend. Will be back again sometime in the future. Just loved this hotel! more

On arrival at the Crown in the atmospheric village of Exford the reception staff impressed us with their warm welcome and quiet efficiency. Our room (No 2) was light and airy and spotlessly clean.
