staff excellent and helpful, room very comfortable, clean and impressive, owners knowledgeable of area and history of church informative, (ask about church clock). generally don't eat breakfast but as having a full day in the locale felt one should take advantage of owners wife.

We had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and made us very welcome, the food was excellent and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The inn is a great place to stay if you want to visit Bath,Glastenbury, Cheddar Gorge or Wookey Hole and is only a 50 minute drive to weston super mare. We would thoroughly recommend... More

We held our Wedding Party here and it was just perfect. Lee and his amazing staff got everything just right. They could not have been more helpful. The food was so good, our guests were going back for second and third helpings. We thoroughly recommend The Bell for a great party… we are already looking for an excuse to hold... More

Stayed overnight after Val & Dave's wedding party which was the event of the year. Fantastic evening made even better by the superb friendly atmosphere created by the staff. Lovely comfy room (recently refurbished) and great breakfast - BEST BACON I'VE TASTED FOR YEARS (and three rashers, too!) I can thoroughly recommend this place. Unpretentious, straight forward, good hospitality. I... More

My husband and I stayed here overnight using a voucher I received as a gift. Although it was a three hour journey we had a comfortable stay. Don't expect luxury here but it was very clean. Only three rooms, no central heating but they provide heaters. The bed was very comfy. The restaurant food was wonderful and huge portions. It... More

We also booked an extra night to make the break worthwhile having travelled 200 miles to get there. We stayed on the 30th/31st October. On arrival we were made very welcome indeed. The room (3)... I can honestly say that all of the staff were very helpful and pleasant and couldn't do enough for us while we were there. The room... More
