I don't know why I haven't written a review before as I live in Evercreech and am a regular in The Bell. The Bell is everything a village pub should be, fantastic food, great atmosphere, amazing staff and also a great meeting place for the lovely people of Evercreech. It is a treat, in these days of "gastro pubs" to... More

Spent a night here on a short tour around Somerset. We found The Bell Inn to be welcoming and comfortable, As well as being a good deal for visitors, it is obviously a proper family run local community pub. Good Ale and the food is very good quality pub grub with ample portions. Our stay coincided with a drop in... More

Prior to our visit I read a review from Amanda and wondered what I was letting myself in for. Can only say the Bell Inn at Evercreech she wrote about must be a totally different one to the one I stayed in last weekend. We stayed for 2 nights and were not disappointed. This is only a small Inn with... More

Stayed for a night, staff were really friendly, nothing too much trouble we were made to feel very welcome. Dinner was lovely - a great choice of local produce, the most amazing choice of house wines at a really reasonable price (even bought one to take home!) Room was spacious, clean and bed really comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet given... More

The Bell Inn in Evercreech, is a fab pub with a really lovely bunch of people working there. The staff are really friendly, the food is great and the wine's even nicer. There are lots to see and do around the Mendip s, we visited Glastonbury Tor which was exhilarating and then we went shopping in Clarkes Village which was... More

Stayed for a night's bed and breakfast using Gift Ideas for Two. Good locally sourced food - nice dinner in evening and breakfast, and plenty of it. Friendly service and good range of West Country beers. Good solid pub accommodation.

A good, honest, solid B&B experience - with the benefit of a top pub to boot. Stayed for two nights in May and it was spot on. Rooms are simple and tend to no frills, yet very clean and comfortable and well priced. The pub is very nice. Good ales and ciders, well kept, and highly affable staff and clientele.... More
