Dulverton is a lovely place to visit. It's a small town in Somerset with a thriving High Street offering a butcher, a baker, a deli, a greengrocer and a variety of other individual shops with character as well as a well-stocked Co-Op that never seems to close. There are several good pubs and places to get something to eat and... More

What with Christmas and the shooting season to go through we have only just had time to get back to you but wanted to say how lovely it was to meet you and how pleased I am not to be a "some pokey little dive run by a landlady with a face like thunder"! Six o'clock in the morning and... More

This the second time we have stayed with Charles and Allison and we enjoyed our stay as much as the first time. Perhaps even more. Nothing was too much trouble and they took fantastic care of us. It was a special anniversary for us and the champagne waiting for us in our room was a wonderful surprise. We would hesitate... More

We don't normally do B&Bs but this one is an exception!! Charles and Alison made us so welcome and we had a lovely room, very comfortable. Excellent home cooked breakfast with local produce. We will be back to stay again with these charming hosts. Thank you!

Booking easy, location in town centre with private car park just perfect. Met by Charles who was charming and efficient, room no 1 on a corner was light, airy and well appointed. Its the little touches that you remember, bottled water, complementary Port for aperitif, lots of soap, shampoo, spotless bathroom. Large double bed and also a single bed with... More

We have just returned from a very enjoyable break at Town Mill to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Having spent our honeymoon in Dulverton 40 years ago I booked a weekend at Town Mill with our son and daughter in law as a surprise for my husband. Charles and Alison were wonderful hosts and accomplices, at one point Charles hid my... More

One could not imagine a more beautiful and gracious place to stay. Allison and Charles the perfect hosts. Wonderful rooms and extra delicious breakfast ! Certainly the place to stay in Dulverton. We have just returned from a two night stay at Town Mills, together with a group of eight friends. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Charles and Allison. The accommodation is large and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is locally sourced and beautifully cooked and there is a good range of cereal, fresh... More

We have stayed here now on a number of occasions. The excellent rating says it all really. As good as ever. Dulverton has everything you'd want in a small village and is an excellent base when exploring the surrounding countryside. What more can one say. Highly recommended.
