We stayed here a few weeks ago on 30th October for my son's wedding. Very comfortable rooms. Lovely sunny breakfast room and excellent breakfast cooked to order. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Thank you

Everything about Elm Tree Cottage is exceptional - once you manage to get there. The bed linen, cleanliness, breakfast, hosting, etc. are all excellent. However, access is via a very steep, twisting, unlit lane and, arriving as we did in the dark and wet in an unknown place, we proceeded slowly and our car got stuck on the wet, leaf-covered... More

I arrived late and received a courteus call from the owner as he needed to go out and wanted to make sure I wasn't left stranded. I was pleasantly surprised with the lovely room, with everything I needed for a good nice sleep. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. wsq

So the room on the ground floor to the left of the front door was quite quaint with a comfortable bed and an en suite. As we arrived on father's day the owner was quite intent on leaving us to our own devises as soon as he could, which was nice in a way but left things a little vague,... More

On arrival we were welcomed warmly, shown to our room and given a brief overview of facilities and breakfast. The room was cosy and very comfortable with a decent shower and comfortable bed, plus a nice view of the countryside with a small window seat. Free wifi is available throughout but the signal was fairly weak in our room. Breakfast... More

My wife and I visited the area for a few days break selected this on the back on previous reviews. Whilst it was very clean (as you would expect), the host and hostess very helpful and kind, the breakfast was superb, that is where the positives ended. The granite track approach to the B&B was not much fun, narrow steep... More

It is a steep partly gravel track up to the house but fun rather than a challenge; perhaps not so good in the wet. Parking is OK for 4 to 6 cars. Our bedroom was small but had a nice (but not stunning) outlook, the bathroom was small but sufficient – a shower (no bath). The bed was comfortable and... More

Excellent B&B very clean and comfortable, good range of choice for breakfast. Owners very friendly and went out of their way to help on travel arrangements. Within walking distance from very good pubs and restaurants in Nailsea. Not far from Noah's Ark Zoo where I had an enjoyable day.

Really comfortable stay on our cycling trip in beautiful surroundings. Bikes were stored safely, comfortable, clean room, good shower. Really good breakfast. My husband has commented it was the best cooked breakfast on our trip. Porridge with manukau honey was delicious. We were given some really good advice for our next day's cycling. As a keen cyclist our host advised... More

This was my very first B&B stay and I absolutely loved it! Offers lovely views and is back from the road enough to offer a quiet stay. Very friendly owners who provided a wonderful breakfast (the baked beans were delightful!) and all the toiletries you could ask for are provided in the bathrooms.
