Stayed for about a week. Room 4. Fantastic TV, very comfortable bed with fresh linen. Heating very good. Modern sink in room. David (the Manager) was extremely helpful. At £30/night it was good VFM as the Moon & Sixpence charge from £50/night. Dining room open all night if you cannot sleep and need a snack.Well done David !!!

My family came to stay with me in Clevedon but unfortunately I don't have the room to have them all stay with me, so my parents booked into this place for 2 nights. My mum had rung up to book and paid a £20 deposit. Upon arrival we all went in while they checked in and they didn't have the... More

We deeply apologise for the double booking, and I'm sorry we didn't make every effort in finding an alternative accommodation, it is very rare that this situation happens and again we apologise. We will, with every effort, not have this happen again. Please accept our apologies Regards Manager David Hamnett More

My 90 year old father and I were booked into this Bed and breakfast by a family member, having read previous comments I was very nervous. But lack of time meant we had no chance of booking another hotel. on arrival we were met by an elderly lady that showed us to our rooms, they were both clean and the... More

This is the second time we've stayed. Our room was clean and tv had been updated since we were last there, also the bed linen. The breakfast was good. The lady that runs it couldn't have done more for us. Lovely spot, central for everything.

We had an en suite family room, which met our needs, decor and facilities a bit dated but adequate for what we required. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They were very child friendly and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. All in all I would recommend Cavell House as a budget option... More

I was greeted by one of the owners with a welcoming smile, shown into an atmosheric dining room which has charming old world style, there is a free Continental breakfast provided with the room and a full English breakfast available for an extra fee of £6. I tried the full English and it was everything you would hope for. The... More

We booked in advance and then read the comments and I was worried. We stayed for 3 nights in a double room, whilst 2 friends had single rooms. Our room was clean, bright, large and cool; perfect for a hot summer night. The bathroom was excellent and obviously newly done. The power shower was the best I've had in a... More

We booked this B and B six months ago so that we could attend a wedding in the locality. The room was dated and poorly decorated, the towels were of poor quality. We were given no details regarding breakfast and leaving times. On presenting for breakfast at 09.45 we were told by two pensioners who appear to be employees that... More
