A three-night stay at Edington House left us refreshed and revitalised. Wonderful hosts, excellent food and comfortable beds. A perfect place to base yourself for many of the Somerset sights and a peaceful setting to come home to in the evening. Edington also has a charming garden. You will be treated like family here.

The house was beautiful, both inside and out and ravishingly furnished. I was delighted by the hosts who treated me with such generosity, and who were very interesting aswell. No doubt would I stay here if visiting the area again.

The rooms, the gardens, the food, the welcome, and the trouble taken to ensure you want for nothing whilst with them are all first class. Inge could not do more to make you feel welcome and to encourage you to enjoy all the house has to offer..

Sometimes we have stayed at very good B&Bs. This is the first time we have stayed at an excellent one. The warmth of the hosts, consideration for the guests and the host of 'extras' to make the night enjoyable were matched by the beauty of the house, the garden and the rooms themselves - very thoughtfully decorated and furnished by... Inge and Robert were the most delightful hosts. I was with my mother in Somerset for a wedding and we stayed two nights. A very beautiful house with some exceptional paintings and furniture. Nothing was too much trouble. They seemed like friends and we were made to feel very welcome. I will certainly go back with my partner.

My partner and I spent the night at Edington house where I had planned to propose. On arrival we were shown to our room, the four poster room which was beautiful. I mentioned to the hostess that the pictures on the site do not do the house justice at all. We were then shown to the drawing room where we... More

We had a family weekend away at Edington House and the host and hostess (Robert and Inge) could not have been more obliging. The property is steeped in history and rich in culture and antiques. Fabulous library. Inge is an accomplished cook and our children loved the ponies and rabbit! Lots of good walking nearby. Cannot recommend more highly. What... More

We stayed at Edington House with Inge and Robert. They were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The kids (6 and 2) had fun with the ponies, rabbit and dogs. The interior of the house is absolutely unique and it is so well situated for site seeing. It was our first Wolsley Lodge experience and is far... More
