I stayed here for work and was pleasantly surprised with the room. I booked a double but only got a single however it was still big enough for me. I ate at the hotel and the food was nice, but was a little surprised that the only person on front desk was also the chef and the bar man! The... More

Firstly the location is very good, just off the town centre, but down a quiet road, opposite the very pretty church. The place I would say is pretty oldy-worldy, but in a good way. My room was nice, clean, and staff were really friendly. Breakfast was nice, the place had parking, and was very good value. I have trouble faulting... More

This used to be my favourite hotel in the area but prices are up, breakfast size is down, efficiency seems to be on a learning curve for what seems to be the third or fourth set of owners in a year or so. But still beautiful, and in a lovely part of town. I love the room service now available... More

Booked in here to be near the venue of a wedding with several other people. The variety of sizes and shapes of room is quite wide and seemed pot luck on who got which room. One couple got a tiny box room while another got a large room with a four poster bed. And they booked later so maybe they... More

Good value, Clean and Quiet (we have always had a room in the annexe at the back) Comfortable and quirky (if your room is upstairs). Good breakfast. Off street parking. Very convenient for the Green Olive restaurant by the canal.

Stopped here for a few days for business , New owners who seem to be working very hard to make everyone welcome. Decor and fittings tired in places but overall not bad. breakfast good and had dinner at hotel one night . Good hones plain food but very eatable.

We booked this beautiful, quaint, cosy hotel for the Petherton Carnival. We had an upstairs room with ensuite. It was warm cosy and very comfortable and clean. Right in the centre of Bridgewater, easy access to the shops and small market. Breakfast was enjoyable, plenty of lovely things to choose from. They were starting renovations while we were there, but I hope they... More

We've stayed at this hotel twice and found it very conveniently located close to family in Bridgwater. The management and staff were very friendly and efficient, responding promptly to our requests. Breakfast was excellent - fresh and tasty. The room we stayed in was old, no surprise there .... but the beds were clean and comfortable. Coffee, tea and yummy... More

Overall not a bad place to stay. We were put into the Parrish Suite which had a large open fireplace, settee and chair. Wasn't a true suite but a fairly large room. I wouldn't say it smelt musty but it had an old building smell. There were a few lightbulbs not working but only there for a night so were... More

We stayed here for just one night at the end of August. We were attending a wedding nearby and were booked into room 15; the family suite. Norbert was very friendly on arrival and very apologetic that our room wasn't quite ready. He arranged for us to drop our bags in whilst he asked his staff to prioritise our room.... More
