Excellent one night stop on way to Cornwall. No complaints but a radio or music at breakfast would improve the atmosphere. The rooms at the front are quite noisy with traffic. Would recommend especially for anyone wanting to break the journey while travelling on the M5.

Spent the week in Bridgwater at Admirals Table. Hotel is cheapest around but does has all the amenities needed and also includes breakfast . Had food and drink every night in Restaurant and carvery on Sat and Sun, excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.

Went on steak night but they had run out of steak and it wasn't at all busy or late in the day, I thought waitress was joking initially-she was clearly a tad embarrassed. Salad was limp. Edible I suppose. Nice looking pub, pleasant and pleasant enough staff. Not much more to say really.

The twin room was large, clean and comfortable. The food was fine. The parking area was fine. It's just the staff. They need lessons in how to address their customers. I've seen happier looking bloodhounds. The hotel is directly on the A38, which, as you can imagine is very noisy, all through the day and night.

Rooms were very large, complete with settee & 2 upright chairs at the desk. However the en suite bathroom was minute! It was impossible to sit straight on the loo as there was only about 12inches from seat to the wall. Shower door hit against the sink when opened. Rooms were very clean. Rooms on front were probably very noisy... More

On a recent visit to Somerset stopped here one evening for a meal. The pub was quite busy but we found a table waited quite a long time for waitress to take our order. The meals were on a 2 for 1 offer. My husband and son ordered curry 1 tikka masala and a beef with coconut and lime. I... More

Stayed two nights on business in May 2015. This is a pub that has rooms not really a hotel. check in was at the bar and a bit poor, I was just given a key and directed back out to the car park, no explanation of anything, instructions for breakfast etc etc. The room I was allocated was just outside... The sunday carvery is excellent maybe a little pricey if your a lone customer like me. But for couples buy one get one free will give you a bargain, try the gammon joint i have not tasted any better for a long time. Well done what an improvement from last year andits not a one off either.

The room was very comfortable although lacked a bath but that was minor. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. Even had free wife. Enjoyed our stay over for weston air show. Well done.

Brilliant place for a stop over on your way to/from Cornwall, as it's just off the M5. We did hear the noise outside that others have mentioned, but it didn't bother us. Nice big room and good shower. The only downside was the fried breakfast - the poached eggs were hard, and it was all rather unpleasant. My boiled eggs... More
