Looked lovely on arrival, had not booked but told it was not a problem and shown to a table. Group of four people all decided on the Sunday carvery . As I have had a medical condition and only eat small amounts at a time I ordered a child's carvery whilst the others ordered an adult one. The manager came... More

Arrived at the olive mill, from the outside look, beautiful views and that is where the good stops. 1 check-in was average, didn't get any information about the hotel, wasn't told what time check out ywas or breakfast. Walked round to a door and told to go upstairs to our room. 2) rooms - ok, on the small side -... More

On arrival I slipped on concrete stairs because the rail was not fastened the slabs the rail stood on we're not cemented down there was no warning sign and had my friend not steadied me I dread to think of the outcome. Reported to hotel to be told it was not thier fault. Handle came off bathroom door locking me... More

Glastonbury is about half-way between Lands End where we holiday and Snowdonia where we live and we tend to break our journey home thereabouts with an overnight stop in a hotel. We stayed at the Olive Mill two years ago and were really looking forward to another night there. Unfortunately when we arrived around 5 pm we found ourselves locked... More

We booked this place for a 16th birthday celebration as it has fantastic views and had high hopes of a great evening. My concerns began when we arrived as it was fathers day evening and the car park was virtually empty , not a good sign for somewhere accessible by car, clearly the locals know something that we didn't. It... More

stopped off here for lunch whilst visiting family on Saturday afternoon. We all opted for the carvery which was lovely with an interesting varied selection of vegetables all cooked to perfection. Desserts were scrummy too. The views from the restaurant are beautiful and we ate our desserts outside as it was a warm afternoon. Staff were pleasant and attentive without... More

Very nice clean room and comfy bed for the price. Arrived late and was welcomed with a drink Furniture possibly a bit dated but of good quality. Was amazed at the view in the morning , Not uber luxury but good value

Visited for an evening meal (not the carvery that looked very good). Very attentive and obliging staff and mussels were to die for. Friends main meals were lovely, but the belly pork left a lot to be desired - chewy skin, dry meat and soggy potatoes - I left most of it. As usual we were asked if everything was... More

We had a glorious Sunday Carvery in a gorgeous setting with very good service throughout. We've been here several times and would recommend it to anyone. Very good price for a top quality carvery (the meats were really amazing and the desserts were great too!)

Happy 30th birthday to my lovely sister - a few days before the actual day, but seeing as we had to travel to Bridgwater then it was a good idea to combine both events plus miss the actual Mothers day mayhem. We've been to this restaurant before, in fact for brothers 40th a couple of years ago. Still good. :-D... More
