We came here for the Easter Weekend and my Birthday to get a away and relax. We had a very warm welcome and the owners seemed very nice and chatty. Breakfast and dinner was nice. Overall the hotel is sort of cosy. As the weather been amazing we been out and about through the days, so we were not really... More

We stayed here for two nights in a room with a large window overlooking the lake which was lovely. We we're made welcome and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I have finally joined Trip Advisor so I can warn others what to truly expect at the Tynycornel Hotel following the torrid time me and my wife experienced a... More

Following the B4405 north east from Abergynolwyn (after a visit to the scenic ruin of Castell Y Bere), we were heading for the Cross Foxes Inn where the A487 meets the A470. At Tal-y-llyn, on the southern shore of Llyn Mwyngil, we spotted the Tyn-Y-Cornel Hotel and decided to stop on impulse to see if they could fit four of... More

Still telling your lies Frank. No change there then. You obviously never learn. Though I am not surprised. I note that not only are you a racist, liar, cheat, thief and fraudster we can now add libel to the list. Not only have you blazed a trail throughout the UK we now note you have done the same in Spain.... More

This must be one of the most beautiful locations in Wales. We stayed for two nights in one of the best rooms in the hotel overlooking the lake with a terrace outside. The room is very generous in size, the bathroom also large with a lovely bath and a separate shower and even a mist free mirror. The bed was... More

We arrived for a 2 day break away having had a very challenging year healthwise. The location is beautiful in fact stunning, BUT the hotel is unacceptable. We were shown our room by a pleasant young man, we were told the owner was out. We decided to have a rest and pulled back the cover to find a dirty bed... More

The place is in TIRED, it is in need of serious investment. There are plenty of attractions within easy reach of this location, but due to the attitude/atmosphere in the establishment the owners are not making the most of what is available on their doorstep. With the attitude of the owners "Lady of the Lake & Basil Fawlty" at each... More
