We were attending a 2-day conference at Telford International Centre. The Hotel was 10-15 minutes away from the Hotel. Olde-Worlde, lots of Character, and respectfully restored. All the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was good, cereals, grapefruit, yoghurts, porridge to order and full english if you wanted. We stayed in the newer rooms. No lift, and windy passages, but for... More

This was our 2nd Christmas stay at Haughton Hall. We had our Christmas party here and stopped the night too. The food was amazing and there was lots of it. The entertainment was good and our room was lovely. The choice for breakfast next morning was brilliant, it is an overall lovely hotel and the staff are very polite and... More

An impressive country hotel on the edge of Shifnal, convenient for short journeys to Telford. The rooms are well-sized, with period furniture and some modern features in the bathrooms. The restaurant is just big enough for the hotel and the food is good. The gym/pool is well-equipped and seems be used regularly by both guests and local residents. There is... More

Nice hotel with spacious grounds, pool and gym facilities. The cost for two nights was very reasonable and all of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Large rooms and very comfortable beds. Only let down was the very limited menu.

We stayed here for one night recently and although really looking forward to our first night away with a new baby, I'm sad to say I felt a bit let down. The room, although large was a weird mix of old fashioned and an attempt at 'up to date' decor which resulted in a mish mash of colours and styles.... More

We held a 30th birthday for my son on Friday (12th Dec), we were only a small party being 14 of us so we had the Brooke Suite to ourselves. There was a party night on elsewhere in the hotel but it never interfered with our dinner at all. Right from the arrival of me first with one of my... More

Well what can I say! What a truly welcoming, warm and fantastic place to stay. The food is first rate with layout and taste that would rival many top resturants - but at much better value! The staff are extremely pleasant and more than willing to assist in making your stay very pleasant. To top it off both a fantastic... More

We came here for our 14th wedding anniversary, and on arrival the building looks very impressive. Inside it's your quaint, wood panelled decor which is very nice. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and accommodating. Food was very good, tasty and enjoyable and breakfast was plentiful. We wanted poached eggs and upon asking they were produced perfectly cooked. We also... More

Booked for Christmas lunch after a lovely meal last year with a dozen dancers from our weekly class. I developed flu on the morning of the lunch and phoned to say I could not go. Since I had already paid, I asked for a credit to go again. They would not agree and I just lost the money. I thought... More

I stayed here for one night only as I was attending a conference in Telford. The building is very impressive when you drive up to it and my initial impressions were good. However, I had a room in the new part of the building, it was clean but quite cold, tatty and tired. It desperately needs updating, it smells damp... More
