We were absolutely amazed at the value here! 25 pounds for a huge platter with two full roast chickens, roasted veggies, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, stuffing and free dessert for the kids! DELICIOUS! Everything perfectly cooked. Staff were professional, attentive and friendly We will be back.

Spent a weekend at Haughton Hall when we went to see the Cosford Air Show. Check in was good, although we couldn't get into the room as the 'new' entry key cards didn't seem to work very well. But after a few attempts by the hotel staff it was sorted out. After check in we went over to the Spa,... More

Dear Shoefan Thank you for your comments. I was very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and found the Leisure Club to be a popular place to visit by other guests and Club members. Our head chef and his team always receive great feedback for the food quality, and I will pass on your feedback to them today.... More

Just returned from one night stay in this hotel. It has beautiful grounds and parkland setting which are kept very tidy. The rooms are typical 3 star rating and do need upgrading but the staff are 5 star. From our initial introduction to the facilities from receptionist Chloe to all other members of staff (special mention for Holly for the... More

We arrived at 1pm for fathers day meal. We were greeted on arrival by lovely staff who were very professional yet relaxed and pleasant. The starter's, main meal's and desert's are the best we have ever experienced. Every bite was a taste sensation! An absolute credit to a very talented chef. The hotel sits in breath taking scenery of which... More

Stayed here for the weekend. I get the impression that this hotel is being gradually upgraded. The rooms were very clean . the bar and dining room were light airy and well decorated. The staff were friendy and polite. I would go back and hopefully will

Stayed here as a late booking as meetings had run over time. This is a country house with a large 60s looking extension and a leisure club in a stand alone building. This is set in large gardens with a lake. As with many of these types of hotels the decor outside of the main area is a little dated... More

I expected more from this place given that I've stayed in similar hotels in the area. The room, whilst large was cold, the radiators barely got warm on a cold wet evening, and whilst there was an electric heater in the wardrobe it was insufficient for the size of the room. The bed was not particularly comfortable, with a summer... More

This hotel is set in its own grounds in the beautiful Shropshire country- side. It is an old family built hall converted over the years into a hotel and leisure facility. The purpose of our visit is an overnight stay after a long drive down from Yorkshire.

Nice hotel but dated and in serious need of refurbishment!! Bed was very uncomfortable and room/bathroom was generally tatty. Used the gym which was more than adequate but the changing rooms were in a poor state. Bar and food was ok but not worth the money - £13 for a chicken Caesar salad! Breakfast was hot and well cooked -... More
