After a long, hot drive to Shropshire, we were welcomed by Tricia and Anthony who provided us with a much needed cup of tea and home made scones. Everything about Old Quarry Cottage is about comfort and that home from home feeling. From locally provided eggs, bacon and sausages to Tricia's home made jams and marmalades. This is complimented by... More

We had a good couple of nights stay at the Old Quarry in Room1. Large room with a very comfortable bed. Trisha & Anthony were good hosts and helped us with our choice of where to eat (The Feathers in the village was very good) and where to go walking and supplied us with maps and guides. The breakfast was... More

We stayed in the Coach House as B&B guests for two nights this month. The room was very pretty, clean and comforatble with TV, books, magazines and games provided, and the self-contained kitchen/ensuite bathroom were an added luxury well worth the extra cost. We were welcomed with a tea tray and cake. Biscuits and coffee/tea were available and fresh milk... More

Only just got round to reviewing my B and B's from my LEJOG cycling trip last summer! After a good days cycling, all I wanted to do was dry my clothes out and have a cup of tea. Thankfully, my hosts were more than helpful, drying my clothes out on the aga and providing me and my travelling companion with... More

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Old Quarry Cottage self contained apartment. Everything was there and even freshly baked scones on arrival - a wonderful welcome. The accommodation was modern, clean and plentiful in its entirety. Breakfast was taken in the conservatory in the cottage looking out at the garden. We were asked the evening before on... More

The Webbs go out of their way to make their guests feel at home, and the pretty cottage is well cared for, with a lovely garden, and the first floor room very comfortable and spacious, attractively decorated in blue and white. Excellent breakfasts in the conservatory. A small quibble - the shower room is very small, not surprising given the... More
