We went to The Fox Inn for a meal but didn't stay in the hotel as we were staying with family up the road. We went to the bar first for drinks and it was very good. Wide selection of wines and beers. The staff were helpful and we were offered our table within a few minutes by the lovely... More

We visited the Fox on recommendation from our family who had stayed earlier this year. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff who made us feel extremely welcome. We stayed in room 5 which was furnished well and had a lovely cosy feel to it. We had pre-booked our evening meal which was excellent value at £25pp for a... More

We stayed at The Fox Inn from Tuesday 21st October to Friday 24th October 20414 and would thoroughly recommend it. It's a great place to go off exploring but also a good location for looking around Much Wenlock. The place has lots of character. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing. Mick and his staff were... More

Stayed here for three nights in room 4. Lovely room with a rather large television and a sloping floor leading to the bathroom. Made you feel a bit tipsy. Wonderful beams and old fireplace The bed was so comfortable I didn't actually want to get out of it. I mentioned the bed to the owner and was told it had... More

Saturday evening, and an 8pm booking. We turned up on time and it was buzzing. The menu looked terrific. After 15 minutes Olly turned up, very bright and cheerful to say there was a bit of a rush on and we would have to wait to order. Ten minutes later no order had been taken so i grilled Olly about... Six of us stayed on 27 September 2014. From the moment we walked through the door we were made welcome. Considering the team have only been there a couple of months it is a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and very quirky and full of character. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and had a wonderful... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. Great place, very quirky with a fab atmosphere. Staff really welcoming, room brill with sloping floors keeping all the old characters from the 16th Century. Ate on the Saturday night and the food was excellent. Big portions and value for money. Mick, Sarah and the girls have done a great... More

We stayed for one night on 24th August. We stayed in room 1 which had bags of character ... sloping floors and beams. The whole place is decorated beautifully and the bar area is a lovely place to spend the night. Mick, Sarah and Paige are the perfect hosts! Breakfast is high quality and plentiful. Definitely the place to stay... More

I loved this hotel, it is a beautiful period building dating from the early 17th century, with many of it's original features including wooden beans and sloppy floors; my bed was levelled with carefully placed books! The owners and staff were incredibly friendly ad the food was great :-)
