Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. Great place, very quirky with a fab atmosphere. Staff really welcoming, room brill with sloping floors keeping all the old characters from the 16th Century. Ate on the Saturday night and the food was excellent. Big portions and value for money. Mick, Sarah and the girls have done a great... More

Stayed there for 2 nights last month and can not understand how this hotel received this grading,if it did ,the owners certainly did not show them the room that we were staying in. On arrival we were shown to our room by the owner,it was quite a dark room but you expect this in an old building with smaller windows,the... More

Yet again another example of the damage Trip Advisor can do. Clearly not a regular user of Trip Advisor, yet all of a sudden you choose to post a review of a stay you had over a month ago. Since your "stay", this hotel has changed owners. You'll be pleased to know that we have replaced the low energy bulbs... More

We stayed for one night on 24th August. We stayed in room 1 which had bags of character ... sloping floors and beams. The whole place is decorated beautifully and the bar area is a lovely place to spend the night. Mick, Sarah and Paige are the perfect hosts! Breakfast is high quality and plentiful. Definitely the place to stay... More

I loved this hotel, it is a beautiful period building dating from the early 17th century, with many of it's original features including wooden beans and sloppy floors; my bed was levelled with carefully placed books! The owners and staff were incredibly friendly ad the food was great :-)

Pretty place and building. Warm welcome and plenty of choice of drinks. Tablecloths...a pleasing rarity these days. Gorgeous pork dinner and lots of hot vegetables. Beef was lovely too. Very reasonably priced. clean toilets. Will be returning.

Just had a Groupon two night b&b stay at The Fox Inn in Much Wenlock. We had room 7 which was at the front of the Inn overlooking the road but no noise problem as there seemed to be very little traffic. The room was comfortable and had a bath but no shower facility - which was a shame. The... More

Had a super 2 night break at the Fox Inn. Friendly welcome, the hotel has loads of character and the room was cosy in a positive way. Loads of parking and right in the center of Much Wenlock which is one of our favorites. This time we caught the bus to Shrewsbury after a suggestion from John the owner and... More
