Nice quick service, friendly bar and waitress stAff, you get alot for your money but its nothing special, we had the sunday roast which comes with unlimated veg and gravy and it also come with mash which is a bonus in my eyes! Ideal family location for cheap and cheerful pub grub also it has a large outdoor area with... More

A busy bank holiday in Morville as the flower festival was on and weather was good so after the festival we popped over to the Acton assuming they would be serving all day, which they were but then got a back log of orders so decided to stop serving food til the evening! Just wish the waitress had told me... More

I'm one of a dozen discerning senior citizens who go to lunch every two weeks. We've visited a lot of restaurants/pubs/bars in Shropshire over the past ten years. We read some of the reviews for this restaurant and almost missed a great lunch. We arrived around 12.25 and were having our starters about 12.50 and the mains about 1.20 ...... More

Stopped in Sunday evening for a drink and decided to have a meal. Ordered the Sunday roast, which was edible but not good. The peas were nice but the chicken and carrots were over cooked, whilst the cauliflower was under cooked. It's a real shame because this pub could be brilliant in the right hands - good location with lots... More

I had lunch at this establishment a few days ago - but I was very disappointed with the food. The hosts were welcoming and the surroundings were fine, but oh dear the food! I ordered the steak and ale pie but I did not manage to find either. The shortcrust pastry was reasonable but the meat was a gooey mess... More

I have never in all my life been so ill treated as a customer. The landlady herself was extremely rude to us. Refusing to accept our order of food at 16.40pm after we had already asked when we arrived if we was ok to order and they said that's fine as long as it's before 5.00pm. She was extremely rude... We visited the Acton Arms for Sunday lunch, as it was under new management, having previously visited it a couple of years ago when the food was awful....... sadly although the staff were friendly, the veg was sparse and under cooked, the beef was unrecognisable as beef and the turkey was just giant chunks!! The gravy was not good either.... More

I came here for lunch with some friends, woah! Lovely beer garden, right on the edge of the countryside. Fantastic selection of beer, I am in the catering/hospitality & was very Impressed, I understand it's family run & you can see this reflected. We all had a different selection of food, it was lovely! The staff were so helpful &... More
