Room was clean and average shower not very good, wifi terrible. Changing area for the pool was pretty grim as was the floor around the pool. Railing around the jacuzzi rusty. This area is in need if complete modernisation. The Staff were excellent very friendly and food in the restaurant was very good.

This is a hotel purely for location /access for onward travel as this hotel is situated on a roundabout on a main road not down Ducklinton Lane as indicated on maps so do not expect quiet and tranquility as the noise of traffic is constant throughout the night which we found out as the weather was very hot so had... The good: The staff are very friendly and were very helpful. The evening dinner in the restaurant was expensive (£22.95 for two courses?) but the food was good. The towels were fluffy and there were enough of them, and they were big! Nothing like a hand towel to do the whole of your body! ;-) The room was clean and... More

This hotel is in bad shape, there shower is bad (hardly any water coming from the shower head) and this hotel has no airco in the rooms and rooms get really hot. There is no elevator in the hotel so good luck with your luggage in the narrow hallways. Overall a very poor hotel and overpriced.

I've stayed here many times for work, most recently in June 2014. The rooms are a good size and great value. The en-suite bathrooms have recently been done up so have a smart appearance. There is now free wifi throughout the hotel, which is really useful. The restaurant food is excellent, or alternatively the bar or room service offer a... More

I really liked this hotel although it is not the best I have stayed in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was ample car parking and the hotel is easy to locate. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable with a large bed and good pillows allowing a good nights sleep. Although situated near a main road I... More

We spent the weekend here paying £100 per night B&B booked direct with the hotel and we were in an upgraded room on the first floor in room 105. The room was quite big and had a nice seating area with 2 comfortable chairs, a coffee table and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was small but adequate and the... More

We didn't stay at this hotel but attended a wedding. Very poorly put together event. Food was terrible. Staff were scruffy and unhelpful. Would most definitely not choose this hotel to stay in or host an event.

We have stayed in the Four Pillars, Witney several times now; during the last Christmas period we needed a last minute overnight stay and phoned the Four Pillars about 9pm; they were very accommodating and when I explained that my husband was unwell they ensured they gave us a quiet room despite a wedding reception in full blast! The bathroom... More
