just come back from a night away at the Oxford Witney four pillars Oxford. We had a lovely time. The pool and gym were liovely and clean and had great equipment. We ordered room service for dinner which came quickly and was hot. The food was well cooked and good value. We went down for breakfast and the choice and... More

Went to my friends wedding her recently as a family of four and spent nearly £80 in 3 hours as a pint of lager is £5! I was the designated driver and I was paying £2.50 for a glass of lemonade! The evening buffet was poor.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review I was surprised by your comments about the price of our drinks. Our most expensive premium brand lager is £5.10 a pint, which is competitively priced with other hotels in the area. We do however have other options available at the bar. The buffet is chosen by the Bride and... More

Apologies for the delay... I based myself here for my first visit to The Cotswolds & I would stay again. A very comfortable room, excellent food & wine, helpful & friendly staff and lovely lounge area with fire. Particularly pleased to see so many vegetarian friendly dishes. My only criticism would be poor water pressure in the morning so I... More

We stayed here after a family get together. We had an offer of £99 per room for evening meal and breakfast. The meal was really good, wine a bit pricey. The hotel staff very attentive. The only downside is no air conditioning and it was a warm night.

Arrived midweek to use hotel as a base for a Blenheim Palace concert. We went straight into dinner as we had arrived quite late. We were served by the head waiter who was absolutely charming and the meal and rest of the evening staff were good too. We then went to the room and it was functional but not particularly... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review Thanks you very much for your kind words regarding out team in the Brasserie. I will ensure they all see your feedback. I was disappointed when I read about your experience at breakfast mainly because it tis a meal we serve 365 days a year and should have it spot... More

I would like to recommend this hotel as being a fantastic, friendly and comfortable hotel. It is very well located for visiting Oxford and yet outside the city. The staff were amazing, very pleasant and nothing too much trouble. The extra little touches in the bedroom were very much appreciated. (a fan, complimentary drinks etc).

We arrived late afternoon on Friday and found the parking facilities very good. At check in, the receptionist was absolutely charming and I think this always makes you feel like your custom is valued. There was no lift so we carried our bags up the stairs and this wasn't a problems for us. Our room was huge - space for... More

You think with Four Pillars that you get a little bit of luxury, but we were disappointed that we didn't. The room was very clean but nothing out of the ordinary. The bed was very bouncy but we slept reasonably well. The shower was slower than slow. My husband described it as a watering can! However, plenty of hot water.... More

The stay got off to a bad start with the frostiness of the young madam on reception which I can't explain, but I wasn't going to let that get in the way of things. Things were better next morning when a request for a slightly late check out was granted. Hotel not bad at all, although it'd be really good... More
