The hotel is not anything fancy but for the price we paid and the service we got the value for money was outstanding. There were 8 of us for a 2 night stay. 2 of us had to take kids for first night and they were great with them as it was Halloween and there was a cauldron of sweets... More

Just enjoyed a two night break at this hotel, including breakfast and dinner. Upgraded to a connoisseur room as special treat for husband's 60th. We were both delighted with the whole experience. The room was clean, luxurious and well attended. Our two evening meals in the brasserie were delightful, good food, wide choice and excellent service. The breakfast was as... More

After an evening in thé Mostra expensive hotel bar ever. Over £5 a pint. I decided to get up early to pay for the 5 rooms in my party. I started the process at 6.45. At 7.00 the receptionist had only processed 2 rooms and there was a gentleman waiting behind me. Being polite i gold the receptionist to serve... More

We read some negative reviews but booked regardless and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Troy pointed us in the right direction for some diner in Witney which is a short walk away. Breakfast was great, lots of choice in a buffet style and delicious. I would stay there again.

My finance and I stayed here for two nights recently. On arrival things look pleasant enough. We were given room 7 on the first night. The first thing that hit us was a horrible cleaning solution smell, after closer inspection we found the culprit, it was a disgusting plug in air freshener. After a while we soon realised the air... Stayed here for about 6 months on and off in the last year for work, so the tiny things you'd not notice or turn a blind eye too on a visit I saw all the time. Mistakes on meal / room service for example. Not the right amount of towels left, some of the rooms have unpredictable showers. Don't get... More

Our given room smelt of damp, the food was chewy and tasted of charcoal, breakfast area dark and dismal, reception staff were unfriendly and ruined a surprise that had been planned, beds are very very soft and uncomfortable. Do not attend one of their function nights if you want a good night. Complained to the manager who did email me... More

After having had a recent illness my wife and I thought a weekend away would be relaxing and have always liked Fours Pillars but not this one I am afraid. The hotel is smart and attractive but has no lift despite being two storeys and this is not displayed anywhere in their literature we could find which presented quite a... More

My husband and I spent the night at the Four Pillars in Witney recently as we were touring in the Cotswolds. We like the Four Pillars chain and have stayed in a few of them before. Having read some previous comments about the water pressure in the shower, we checked the shower as soon as we arrived in our room.... More

To celebrate my daughter-in laws 60th birthday, 16 family and friends enjoyed a superb Sunday lunch. So much choice. The staff were really helpful, couldn't fault the service. Exceptional value I can't comment on the rooms as this was just a visit for Sunday Lunch. After lunch we retired to the lounge for tea and coffee, very comfortable.. Just one... More
