I stayed here in business for 2 nights. The hotel is very well situated and close to Witney. It is clean, modern and well priced. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had a twin room which my company booked by mistake instead of a double but it was still spacious and clean. The staff were very average, maybe some training... More

Had a great stay at Witney Four Pillars the room was clean and fresh the bed was comfortable and there was no noise from any neighbours. Shame they only have standard double beds and there isn't a lift although they did offer to take our luggage to the room. The food is exceptional a little on the pricey side but... More

We have stayed in the Four Pillars in the Cotswold Water Park on a number of occasions which top me seems soulless but acceptable, I expected the Witney hotel to be similar...it wasn't! The food was expensive, not very tasty and had tiny portion sizes, the bar was incredibly expensive (I paid nearly £9 for a glass of wine). The... More

Hotel probably does tick all the boxes - on paper - to get its rating but it is in need of refurbishment. Rooms are adequate size but quality of furnishings and linen( some of it stained) definitely not worthy of 4* rating. Shower was poor and as others have said noise from others room easily heard. Food is not brilliant... More

Like others reviewing this hotel, I was disappointed especially as I have stayed at others in the chain, e.g. the 4 Pillars in Oxford & Abingdon which are generally much better. The hotel is a little tired now and the room I was in had quite a small window which makes the room unnecessarily dark. Still not to worry, only... More

Stayed at the Witney Four Pillars Hotel for one night. After arriving late at the hotel (9pm) we ordered room service to our room. On the delivery of food due to not having a credit card or cash I was led around the hotel to pay as the card machine wouldn't work in the bedroom, surely defeating the purpose of... More

We have stayed here a few times and assumed all the lower priced rooms were the same, this time we were given room 50,the bed was so small my wife spent most of the night on the 2 chairs in the room, this is really a large single bed,on checkout the reception thought it was quite funny and said that the rooms... My mothers always said if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all. However she never mentioned anything about writing it down and posting it on trip advisor! I will start on a positive and say the staff were brilliant which must be tough as I can imagine they get a large number of complaints coming their way.... More

Walls are thin so we were able to hear the next door occupants, family with children, talking at 7am, bed was soft so sleep quality based on personal preference was poor. Food in hotel Brasserie was well presented and pleasant however portions are small so if you have a decent appetite you won't leave feeling completely satisfied. Due to the... More

This hotel is for business visitors who want clean tidy rooms with wi-fi flat TV etc,and prompt service, but not necessarily with a smile! Set on a busy road junction and on the edge of Witney, it is not for the holiday visitor who wants a quiet stroll or drink on the patio. In fairness, we attended a lunch-time party... More
