Spent a weekend here with friends. Great location, stunning grounds. The old main house is very grand. The bar and restaurant are lovely - fabulous high ceilings and wood panels everywhere. The rooms away from the main building are small but all we needed. They seem to have either bath or shower so do check if you have a preference.... More

Stayed here for just a night with our friends because we were visiting their wedding venue nearby. I confess we didn't eat there in the evening, but we did have a drink in the bar. The bar area is all a little bit peculiar and awkward. It's not a very sociable space and very cramped. Then, just outside of the... More

I requested disabled access information to book a room for this friday, using their on-line enquiry format, but with a promise a team member would get back to me, & no reply. I have booked elsewhere for the night. It's quite surprising how many hotels do not respond to these types of enquiries!

My husband and I chose Eynsham hall for our winter wedding on the 30th of December which was truly fantastic! (I know I would say that right!) Planning a wedding is stressful and there is so much to worry about, the staff at Eynsham took every worry away! Each and every member of staff was professional, polite and friendly. We... More

Me and my sister stayed here on the 22/02/15 when we were visiting her daughter and her partner at Oxford University. The hall it self is fantastic the staff are really polite , helpful, and very attentive the owners should be proud of them and let them know how very well they do their jobs. The only down side was... More

Just came back from a fantastic weekend with the family to celebrate a surprise weekend birthday for my husband everything you imagine when you look at the photos is even better. All staff friendly and nothing is too much they go out of their way for you. Last minute cake made for my husband as an extra surprise evening meal... More

Starting with the good: The main house is very picturesque when you are driving up to it and inside is every bit the manor house you expect. Everywhere was clean, the staff were polite and the breakfast was good. Now for the bad: As it says in the title the rooms were like something out of a travel lodge! This... More

All the main rooms are fabulous but my room 51 in the main room is disappointing in every way. Sad, tried, unloved, 80s grandmas spare bedroom with out any antiques. I think the worst thing is the expectation. Amazing drive up, castle frontage, award wining bar and lobby, first floor becomes shabby chic and gets steadly worse as you get... More

Thank you for your review following your recent stay at Eynsham Hall. I agree it is a matter of expectations and the house itself and the location certainly heightens these upon arrival. We are about to start refurbishment of the first and second floors of the main building and to deliver a boutique 4 star plus country house with the... More

I stayed at this hotel for a work meeting and evening meal/party. As the organiser I was placed in room 5 of the main hall, wow, it was incredible! a massive comfy bed with swivelling TV at the bottom. The meeting room was big and airy with unlimited teas/coffees and a small selection of fruit and cakes and the Wi-Fi... More

we stayed for one night and will definitely be going back. When you approach the hall down the long driveway it looks spectacular lit up against the evening light, very impressive! We were booked in quickly and informed of booking arrangements if we required dinner (no hard sell). We had kindly been upgraded as it was our anniversary and had... More
