This is a beautiful old estate that has been turned into a hotel in a peaceful rural setting. It also has an indoor pool, hot tub & sauna to relax in. The room was in a building a short walk from the main hall. It had secure access via a wireless key card at more than 1 door. The room... More

Although I had to delay my trip to Eynsham Hall for a couple of weeks, as my partner was injured, the staff were very helpful when transferring my booking. When I originally booked I had chosen to stay in one of the outside annex rooms, when I re-booked the only room available was in the hall for a slightly higher... More

On arrival driving up to the hall, you immediately think..Downton Abbey! It is beautiful set in idyllic country location. We were here for 2 nights attending a wedding. Our room was located to the side in the 'cottages', and we were expecting a cottage, alas it is a block of 8 rooms, the doubled bed wedged in, with not much... More

I want to love this place, but sadly I can't. I chose the hotel because of its location and it was dog friendly. The icing on the cake was the beautiful house and the gardens (although the gardens are not as spread out as it looks). I managed to get a good deal on booking.com, so overall was optimistic. I... Visited on a 2 day business trip. First thing, if they offer you room 1 please be aware that the bathroom is NOT en suite, something i was not made aware of at check in. I did not initially notice until i had unpacked all my things, I also had a lot of work to catch up on, had this... More

We had the good fortune of being invited to a wedding at Eynsham and cannot rate it high enough. The staff were professional without being stuffy (Bruno was great) and setting is beautiful and the food delicious! If I were to find one complaint it would be that the shower was no more than a trickle but in the grand... More

I stayed at the hotel for one night on business and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The hotel staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you. I ate in the hotel bar and was pleasantly surprised with the bar area and the food. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are nice and clean although a new carpet (... More

This was our son and his new bride's wedding reception. Everything was superbly memorable. The photographs on the terrace and the lawns and terrace beyond. The banqueting room had the same southerly views. The staff were all liveried, happy, helpful and courteous. The food was wonderful. There were alternative easy chairs and sofas for those who didn't wish to dance... More

This place could be so much better ! The location is nice the bar and lobby area are also nice however the rooms and the food are very very average . The service in the restaurant was awful . It's a shame really because if this hotel was run properly I would come back . A shame really . M

So, I thought this place looked nice. The grounds are great and the place looks really nice from the outside. But once you get there you are staying at the Travel Lodge (I was thinking this then THREE women in the parking lot actually said it!) unless you book a room inside the main building. If you book on one... More
