We stayed for one night as a birthday treat. When I phoned to book I was told pets were allowed. What they didn't say was that pets were only allowed in the bedroom! So we couldn't take the dog anywhere in the main hall, which meant we either had to leave her alone in the room or find somewhere else... More

We had been looking forward to staying at Eynsham Hall but it didn't live up to our expectations. The room (in the Cottage) was very worn down and needed a good clean. Furthermore, there was lots of noise from the nearby rooms. The breakfast was ok but in general service was non-existing. Tables weren't cleared in the lounge area and... More

We stayed here for just one night in August, I don't know what was going on in the area but there was nothing else to be had in the area, everything was fully booked. I couldn't believe my luck when I found Eynsham Hall at an almost give away price, I knew there had to be a catch, bed, breakfast,... More

My friend and I went to stay at Eynsham Hall for a weekend and it was a nightmare. We had such high expectations for a pleasant stay after looking at the website and photos and were really excited. However, we were not placed in the main hotel but in a 'lodge', as is often the case with stately homes-turned-hotels and... More

A great hotel for a leisure break in lovely surroundings. The service was good. The bar food and the breakfast were fantastic. Lots of choice and freshly cooked. The room was comfortable but the mattress was lumpy and the fixtures and fittings took me back to the 80's!! Very dated.

We stayed here Aug 2015 for a friend's wedding, arriving on the Friday evening. We stayed in the Lodge, which is to the side of the main hall. The room was described as cosy, which meant there wasn't a great deal of space for anything more than weekend bags. A small wardrobe contained iron, ironing board. There was a hair... More

We stayed at Eynsham Hall on the occasion of our daughter's wedding taking place at the Hall. The staff excelled in all areas of the arrangements for the wedding making it a perfect day. The food and wine at the wedding breakfast were of a very high quality and served with perfect timing. We stayed in the main building and... More

what a pleasant surprise! We needed to stay close to Oxford and close to west Oxfordshire, so I looked on Trip Advisor and found Eynsham Hall. We particularly needed a dog-friendly hotel. While the room was small, it was ideal for us, meeting all our overnight needs, PLUS superb grounds outside for the dog to run on. The breakfast was... More

Visited Eynsham Hall with 12 ladies from a local WI. Firstly I will say that the Fruit Scones were absolutely beautiful. Lovely and light, still slightly warm, plenty of delicious cream and tasty strawberry jam. The pots of tea and coffee were deposited on the long table without a word from the waitresses. We then waited sometime before large plates... More

I'll try. Came for a quick lunch in the gun room. Decor is stylish. Building is grand and the staff are very polite. But, only came for lunch not tea. The food was very late. The drinks we ordered at the same time were forgotten about. The bar man vanished and I had to hunt for someone to serve us the... More
